Be one with the machine!
This week from Lewis Hamilton’s Masterclass on a “Winning Mindset” was focused on “Being one with the Machine”. Not referring to AI but rather immersing yourself into the work.
Week 3- Being One with the Machine
Embrace your work
Getting in tune with the mechanics of what you are doing
This requires balance to not become it
Operate at the highest level
Build your cockpit (Module of Control)
Fast reactions and thinking on the spot
Achieving zen state

ChatGPT is coming to a Mercedes near you. If you have an electric Mercedes, you may be eligible to participate in the beta. This is one of the game-changing moments I have been waiting for a couple of reasons.
I love driving and I have always wanted a better experience than what is offered today. There’s too much setup required to really have a conversation with your productive conversation with your call today. I do a lot of thinking in the car and most of the questions I ask are usually met solely with a simple informational response rather than having the ability to ideate.
Imagine planning out your travel/driving ideas with dialog rather than simple feed and response is really the true goal of a real navigation system - being able to make a series of subsequent decisions as events unravel in traffic for example.
Definitely look forward to this to be in more vehicles over time.
This week’s selection is a build-up over the last month. Janelle Monae is a creative genius. I haven’t listened to the album generally because her music isn’t my cup of tea but I want to shine a light on her album rollout. It has been a clinic on visualizing what the “Age of Pleasure” would look like. Check out the main video rollout here.

I’ve been trying to get back into coding for a new project and I was recommended a resource for React since I’d like to know what all the fuss is about.

Monroe and I were having this conversation about why some people choose to stay in painful relationships while they are building toward their career goals. We decided to bring that convo here. I personally feel love is a beautiful thing and should create a sense of support for those involved. However, I can see the other side and Monroe is here to share.

“Pain is Love” - Monroe
“I feel there are 4 main reasons:
Fear of vulnerability: Starting a company is often a challenging and demanding endeavor that requires immense dedication and focus. Some individuals may believe that being in a romantic relationship during this time could make them vulnerable emotionally. They may worry that being in love could distract them from their goals or that opening themselves up to love might expose their emotional vulnerabilities, which they perceive as a weakness.
Fear of dependency: When launching a company, individuals often need to devote a significant amount of time, energy, and resources to their business. They may worry that being in love could create a sense of dependency or reliance on their partner, which might hinder their ability to focus on the company's success. Some people prefer to avoid such dependencies and maintain a sense of autonomy during this critical period.
Perceived weakness: In some cases, individuals might associate being in love with vulnerability or emotional dependence, which they consider as weaknesses. They may believe that showing vulnerability or needing emotional support while launching a company could be perceived as a sign of weakness. To avoid feeling weak or exposing themselves to judgment, they may choose to remain in a bad relationship or avoid pursuing romantic relationships altogether.
Prioritizing business goals: Launching a company requires significant dedication and commitment. Some individuals might prioritize their business goals above all else, including their romantic relationships. They may believe that being in a bad relationship or avoiding love altogether allows them to focus solely on their entrepreneurial endeavors without any distractions or emotional entanglements.”

This week I’m taking it back to 2012. What seems like not too long ago, I was bumping this Lil B song heavy and I came across it this week after noticing Lil B promote his new album. That made me go back into the archives
Check it out!
Enjoy!
Until next time, keep on seeking balance!
