Staying on the topic of Generative AI Art, this week we are going to take a look at its impact on the world of Fine Art.
Is Generative AI Art real art?
“Art is made to evoke an emotional response, to recall past events and emotions, to communicate, and to educate.”
Can we not do the same with Generative AI Art?
I feel like it is really art because of the factor of Curation. Tech has always brought change to art. Starting with the pencil to now CAD programs.
What is the line between CAD programs and AI art?
One article I’ve been reading talks about the idea of Dataism.
Dataism - an artistic practice that acknowledges how data has become humanity’s principal means of understanding nature, characterizing social processes, developing new technologies, and, increasingly, probing what makes us human.
If we want art to matter in the way science, medicine, and the global apparatus of modern finance all matter, then art, too, must learn to speak the lingua franca of our time, and of the future—which is data
This is the most important statement to me because what is art supposed to do as we continue to evolve? Should it not evolve or remain stagnant? Remaining stagnant may render it irrelevant if the conversation that was once simulated in one manner isn’t able to be interpreted in the mediums of the future. Below are some thoughts on the impact of AI to art.

Three major impacts
Today, creative confidence usually dies young as people are made to believe that art won’t get them anywhere. The impact keeps older people who haven’t “made” it yet from trying to get in unless they take that leap of faith
Access to unlimited possibilities
It can be used for both outcome and process based
This week’s Aesthetics is another from my Gen AI collection. Architecture and Interior design are interests of mine as well. I’ve been playing with Modern open-floor concepts and below is one of my favorites.

Back this week with another Midjourney alternative
Freepik is already known for its library of icons, imagery, memes, etc. Now couple this with the ability to apply AI now you have more utility
Mouse is the #1 podcaster in the world and he is not concerned with the introduction of AI. He has always embraced new mediums to present his message. As a result, he has learned a lot and wanted to share some pro and cons with us.

“Pros and Cons of AI in Podcasting” - Mouse
“Pros of AI in Podcasting:
Automated Transcription: AI-powered speech recognition can automatically transcribe spoken content in podcast episodes, saving time and effort for podcasters and making content more accessible to a broader audience.
Enhanced Editing: AI-based editing tools can assist podcasters in removing background noise, improving audio quality, and eliminating filler words, resulting in a more polished final product.
Content Generation and Summarization: AI can generate episode summaries, show notes, and even suggest topics or talking points based on analysis of existing content, streamlining the podcast creation process.
Personalization and Recommendation: AI algorithms can analyze listener preferences and behaviors to provide personalized content recommendations, increasing listener engagement and retention.
Ad Insertion and Targeting: AI can optimize ad insertion and targeting based on listener data, delivering more relevant ads and potentially increasing revenue for podcasters.
Cons of AI in Podcasting:
Loss of Human Touch: While AI can automate many tasks, it may lack the human touch and emotional understanding that resonates with listeners. This could lead to a less authentic and relatable podcasting experience.
Bias and Fairness Issues: AI algorithms can inherit biases from the data they are trained on, potentially affecting content recommendations and ad targeting, leading to fairness and representation concerns.
Quality Concerns: AI-generated content, such as episode summaries or show notes, may not match the quality of manually crafted content, potentially impacting the overall perception of the podcast.
Technical Challenges: Implementing and integrating AI technology into podcasting workflows may require technical expertise and resources that could be a barrier for some podcasters.
Privacy and Data Security: Utilizing AI in podcasting involves collecting and analyzing listener data, which raises privacy concerns if not handled securely and transparently.
Dependency on Algorithms: Relying heavily on AI algorithms for content recommendations or ad targeting may limit organic growth and interaction with the audience, as it could prioritize popular topics over diverse perspectives.”

We have 2 songs this week. One takes it back to my high school days bumping the classic “Philadelphia Freeway” album. “Alright” is my favorite song on the album. A Tear jerker as well. I can play this song any time I need motivation to keep going. Next, we have the best posse track that has been released in the last 10 years. Has there been anything better than the 1Train?
Enjoy!
Until next time, keep on seeking balance!
