The Market plays a big part in defining value. Being one of many individuals that can do the same task reduces your value. Looking into 2023, I challenge you to manage your market environment better. Shape yourself and your environment into one where you are appreciating.
Automation and Artificial Intelligence have become a hot topic towards the tail end of 2022 and will continue to be a focal point of 2023. In the last month, McDonald’s launched their first automated McDonald’s in Fort Worth, Tx. Check out the following video of it in action and my reaction.
In short, the world may be in for a shock if this turns out to make the food better. At the moment, there is a lot of controversy around the replacement of human workers. In addition, it would be hard to believe that a robot could make the food better but the deciding factor could come down to data. When machine learning is applied on top of data where McDonald’s has seen the most success, this consistency can be replicated across the board. Now, from the POV of McDonald’s and the loyal customers, this no longer seems like a bad idea.

Came across this post on Twitter showcasing 5 amazing animations. At #4 below was Peter Foldes’ “Hunger”. It was rather creepy to watch the man get consumed by his own gluttonous behavior which simply started from being hungry. Gotta say that once I was done watching, I immediately headed out to run 2 miles
