I’ve always been that friend who understood crypto, the one people called when they got paid in USDT or needed help converting tokens to naira. As a business owner myself, I accepted crypto payments a few times, and while I knew what to do, it was still a hassle: checking rates, finding who to sell to, and worrying about how much I’d actually receive after the back-and-forth.
It wasn’t just me. My friends who also ran businesses often reached out, saying, “Bro, can I use your wallet to receive this payment? I’ll just collect the naira from you.” They trusted me because they didn’t fully understand how crypto worked. That’s when I realised something bigger: many businesses want to accept crypto, but don’t know how, and are afraid of what it means for compliance.
One night, some of my friends were at a club in Lagos. Their bill was due, but they only had stablecoins in their wallets. The club wasn’t accepting crypto, so they called me to help them convert it to naira. I handled it manually, as usual.
After a while, I realised I had processed a considerable amount of crypto payments manually, just helping people and businesses accept stablecoins. That’s when it hit me, if I could make this simple for others, crypto could become usable, not just tradable. That idea became the foundation for StableFlow.
We began building StableFlow in 2024.
Progress was slow at first because finding a committed team was tough. Many loved the idea, but not everyone shared the long-term vision.
Things changed when I met Pelumi, our CTO.
He’s serious, focused, and driven, exactly what StableFlow needed. With him on board, the product began to take real shape.
One of our toughest challenges was finding a fast, reliable payment provider that could power instant naira settlements for merchants.
We wanted a system where a customer pays in stablecoins, and the business gets fiat immediately, no delay, no confusion, no manual exchange.
But another challenge was deeper: fear.
In Nigeria, many business owners are scared of anything crypto-related.
They worry about compliance, regulation, and account restrictions. Most simply say, “We don’t do crypto.”
We built StableFlow to remove that fear completely.
Businesses using StableFlow don’t touch crypto at all. We handle everything onchain in the background.
They just receive naira. Instantly. Seamlessly.
That’s how we’re bridging the gap, making crypto payments possible without the complexity or the risk.
StableFlow lets businesses accept stablecoin payments like USDT or USDC and receive instant naira payouts.
Customers scan a QR code and pay. Merchants get paid in naira.
Simple.
And to be clear — StableFlow is not an offramp platform.
We’re not an exchange or a trading service. Our goal is to make stablecoin payments usable, not to help people cash out.
Still, individuals, freelancers, creators, or service providers can use StableFlow too.
They can receive crypto payments and get naira automatically, just like businesses do.
Crypto shouldn’t be reserved for traders and early adopters.
It should work for everyone, from the club owner in Lagos to the tailor in Ibadan, from small salons to restaurant owners who want to get paid.
With StableFlow, we’re proving that crypto can be practical, compliant, and instant.
We’re making it feel like what it should have been all along, money that flows
Most businesses in Nigeria lose payments not because customers can’t pay, but because they only have stablecoins and the business refuses out of fear or complexity.
StableFlow fixes that.
With StableFlow, you can:
Accept USDT or USDC from anyone, anywhere
Receive naira instantly, no crypto knowledge needed
Stay fully compliant. StableFlow handles the blockchain layer, not you
Increase sales by not rejecting global or crypto-native customers
Avoid the stress of peer-to-peer or unreliable people converting for you
Operate with zero volatility risk, no holding crypto at all
StableFlow gives you the benefits of crypto, without the burden of crypto.
