Welcome Breadfam! It's been another productive month in our cosy public goods corner of web3, and we've got some great updates to share! Some of our team had the pleasure of catching up with our global community in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for Devconnect. There are so many exciting partnerships and collaborations in the works as a result, you'll hear about them right here in due course.
As always, if you're new, welcome! If this is your first time here and want to get in on the cryptoleft conversation, why not join us at our Discord? But without any further ado, let's get into the Bread updates.

Gitcoin's contributions to grants in the crypto ecosystem have turned them into a household name. They frequently provide a platform for projects to pitch their goals to a highly-motivated audience that wants to help good ideas flourish.
Bread Cooperative, individuals from our cooperative, as well as our member organisations have all benefitted from (and contribute to) this ecosystem. This occasion was no different!
Gas Killer were awarded $10,000 which will go toward the continued development of Bread Co-op's patented scaling solution. Check out our previously-shared blog to get the 101 of all things Gas Killer.
You can read the full proposal crafted by the Gaskiller team below.
The wider Gitcoin Grants 24 (GG24) initiative took place on the platform of our most recent Bread Cooperative member, Gardens. You can read more about their novel Conviction Voting mechanism by clicking here.
Time for the montly $BREAD distribution roundup!
This month's distribution was pushed by a little bit to accommodate some upgrades. Yield never stops though, so this cycle generated a tad more.

We've got a new member organizations layout for you, featuring Gardens for their first-ever distribution!

As always, 50% of the yield gets equally shared between all members, while the remaining 50% is split by vote. Baking & holding $BREAD grants you voting power, which can be used to choose which organisation you would like to support for the cycle. Can't decide and wish to support everyone? That's absolutely fine, we've made it possible to do so with a single click.

Congratulations to Regen Coordination for topping the voting charts this cycle!
Here's the final distribution, as seen in the all-new Bread Solidarity Fund application! Our new-look application, formerly known as the Bread Crowdstaking App, matches the look & feel of our rebrand and we encourage you to explore it! We've added some new features & visualisations, so check it out and let us know what you think!

The endless expanse of the open internet is as beautiful as it can be daunting. So many incredible books, articles and perspectives are shared every day and it's impossible to keep up with it all. That's why we are gathering for weekly reading, where we can learn together.
The first session of the new series looks at "Seizing The Means of Computation," a long read by famed writer & novelist Cory Doctorow. Many of Doctorow's ideas echo tech discussions within leftist circles, providing ample food for thought about the tech world that's being put in place. Most importantly, Doctorow provides solutions that we can engage in both individually and collectively.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, join us every Thursday! Link to our Discord right here!
That's all for the updates for this edition! Share this with fellow cryptoleftists everywhere, and see you on the Discord!
Solidarity forever ๐
