This month BrightID had a great number of donations in Gitcoin Round 15. Thank you! Fantom is now on Unitap and BrightID members will visit Devcon in Bogotá. Go meet them and connect with the BrightID app. The BrightDAO had its first anniversary on the 16th.

In Gitcoin Grants Round 15, more than 1500 people donated to the BrightID project. The round has just finished so we have to wait a bit to see the total amount. But whatever that will exactly be, we are very pleased with the support of so many people. Thank you!

The team working on Unitap keeps making nice progress. This month the Fantom network has been added to the Unitap gas tap. So now we have seven networks in total on the gas tap plus four test networks.

BrightID members will be around at Devcon Bogotá the whole week from October 7 until October 16. If you are still looking to become BrightID verified go meet them. You might be “meets” verified almost on the spot. Also, if you are looking to become “Bitu” verified this is a great opportunity to connect with them and improve your BrightID verification.

Especially look out for Carlos and Victor. You can recognize them from a distance in the crowd by the bright orange shirt they are wearing. They will mostly hang out around the central AGORA area in Bogotá - close to Corferias.

Also, keep an eye out for friends and co-workers with the BrightID logo on their name tag. They are BrightID verified with the BrightID app. Once you are verified yourself, be sure to get your own sticker logo from the BrightID team.

By now we have more than 1400 DAO members and more than 60 proposals have been voted on. By far most of them have passed and that way a lot of further development has been funded. Something to celebrate for sure!
