Hey y’all — JC here.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how most people approach AI.
Everyone wants a strategy.
A framework.
A roadmap.
But here’s the thing no one tells you:
AI rewards curiosity.
Every major unlock I’ve had in this space?
It didn’t come from reading whitepapers.
Or copying some “10x productivity” thread on X.
It came from playing.
Messing around with tools.
Clicking buttons.
Typing prompts.
Asking dumb questions.
Like… “Can I turn this into a custom sales agent?”
Or “What if I gave it all my meeting notes and asked for a pitch deck?”
Or even just, “What happens if I press this?”
That’s how you learn what’s actually possible.
Because with AI, the surface-level stuff is everywhere.
“Use ChatGPT for content.”
“Automate emails with Zapier.”
Yeah cool. We’ve seen it.
But the real magic?
It’s found when you wander off the beaten path.
I’ve had friends use Claude to write training manuals for their team —
and Manus to create a custom onboarding assistant.
One built an entire mini-SaaS app using V0.dev… on a weekend.
I have even created fully operational application (MVP) in 24-48 hours and automated so many daily personal tasks you wouldn't even think of.
No massive strategy doc.
No agency retainer.
Just curiosity → idea → test → learn.
That’s the new game.
And look, I’m not saying strategy is dead.
But if you’re not leaving space to explore,
to be wrong,
to play, you’re going to miss the point.
Especially in 2025.
AI is evolving daily.
So the best thing you can do right now?
Stop overthinking it.
Pick a tool.
Break something.
Then do it again tomorrow.
And if you’re a business owner reading this, maybe you’ve been watching AI from the sidelines, now’s the time to start dabbling.
Not sure where to begin?
Here are some light ideas to test the waters:
Use Manus to create an internal knowledge base your team can chat with
Use Sora to prototype product videos or marketing assets
Use ChatGPT + Zapier to automate weekly reporting or staff reminders
Use V0.dev to generate a landing page and test a new offer
Use Claude to summarise all your client notes into insights & themes
None of it needs to be perfect.
It just needs to be tried.
That’s how you learn.
I’ll always bet on the curious.
They move faster.
Learn more.
And usually stumble onto better answers than the ones following a plan.
And if you’re ready to start poking around AI,
but don’t want to do it alone, that’s why Iibuilt First Avenue.
We help businesses get started with AI the right way.
Built around how you work.
Appreciate you being here.
Go break something today.
