What could be the criteria for a $BASE airdrop? Get your tea, coffee, and snacks ready, let’s dive in!
I wanted to put together some points that I think @base might value. Keep in mind that these are just my own assumptions.
When thinking about airdrop criteria, there are two points Base always emphasizes: Creators & Builders.
In a possible airdrop, I believe these will be the two communities that Base will reward the most.
I actually wanted to write this post earlier, and funny enough, in the meantime Base CEO @jessepollak tweeted hints pointing in the same direction.
Content creators on X, Farcaster, Zora, and the Base App (@farcaster_xyz & @zora). I think Base App will be especially important for the airdrop.
Music creators on Coop Records (@cooprecsmusic)
Memecoin and similar creators on Flaunch (@flaunchgg)
Writers on Mirror (@viamirror), Paragraph (@paragraph_xyz), and Highlight (@Highlight_xyz)
NFT creators on Opensea (@opensea)
Artists on Phi (@phi_xyz)
Podcasters on Pods (@podsdotmedia)

Now you might be saying: *“But I’m not a developer, artist, or musician — what can I do?”*There are still plenty of things you can try or spend time on.
For example, @TalentProtocol has released Builder Score and Creator Score platforms, which might be considered to measure these metrics.

Both of these track your activity across platforms like Zora, Farcaster, Github, etc., and reward you with points and badges.
Some examples:
Certain badges require you to make 10, 50, 100+ transactions on Base.
Staking $TALENT (100+, 1K+, 10K+, etc.). I staked 10k+.
Getting tips or mints on Farcaster and Zora.
Engaging regularly with other creators by tipping, swapping, and interacting.
Even giving out tips (e.g. via the Noice app or Degen token) could help your score, since Base values supporting other creators and builders.
Other things that may matter:
Getting roles on Guild: https://guild.xyz/base
Boosting your Onchain Score on Base: www.base.org/name
Activity across the Superchain (Optimism, Unichain, Soneium, etc.)
Regular Farcaster usage (posts, swaps, miniapps, tips, Neynar score)
Being active on Zora, publishing NFTs or creator coins
Holding Base-native tokens ($TALENT, $NOICE, $BUIDL, etc.)
Participating in Stand With Crypto (@standwithcrypto)
Active use of Base App if you have access
To sum it up, here’s a quick checklist I believe could matter for a potential $BASE airdrop:
Onchain Score (aim for 100+)
Boost your Creator & Builder Scores
Grab as many Guild roles as you can
At least 1000+ transactions
Add liquidity, stake, lend/borrow
Hold Base-native tokens
Stake $TALENT, participate in $OP votes
Publish or interact with content on Zora, Mirror, Paragraph, Highlight, Flaunch, Phi, Coop Records, Pods
Be active on Farcaster (posts, tips, swaps, Neynar score, miniapps)
Deploy contracts (testnet + mainnet)
Participate across Superchain networks
Keep ETH, USDC, and cbBTC in your wallet
Join Stand With Crypto
