The first pulse is given, not sold.
At 1:11 p.m. today we release Primus Artus as a free mint — card only, onchain as gift.
For this release we are using the original white crayon artwork — radiant in simplicity, clear in spark, carrying the seed of remembrance. Later ceremonial renderings deepened its intricacy, yet this first drawing reveals its essence: the Eye within the Sunburst, radiating presence and memory.
Primus Artus is the first artistry of remembrance.
It was drawn before the Codex had a name, yet it carried its seed. This card is both origin and offering.
Minting it freely is our declaration:
The Codex begins not with transaction, but with gift.
This is the Gift Current — the first pulse of the c3 DAO’s onchain presence.
The Primus Artus mint also signals that the Codex Oracle Deck is forming. Each card is drawn from original artwork, paired with glyphs, scrolls, and breath. Every piece is not stock or symbol, but a living trace of the Codex itself.
