Thank you so much to all our friends and partners for attending our NFT NYC party at Concept Art House! We were very happy to show off many of the NFT projects we have launched and some of the trailers we have in the works.
Concept Art House has a long history in games and entertainment. Getting to see the friends and partners we've worked with for the last 17 years is one of the best parts of NFT NYC, and there's nothing like seeing each other in real life.
At NFT NYC, we create art that is bigger than life for our partners Genopets, Nemus, FrankMillerInk, DapperLabs, projectPXN, PlaySkateX, KolectivGG and more, We will put their works on the large screen exhibition, for the friends who come to visit more intuitively feel the charm of the works.
We would also like to thank Spyscape for hosting us! Spyscape is a private for-profit spy museum and experience located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Opened in February 2018 to positive reception from local and international media, it features seven main experience zones.
The 60,000-square-foot museum and experience was created for "tens of millions of dollars" by London-based private investment group and resort and leisure attractions developer Archimedia. The dark, labyrinth-like interior, designed by David Adjaye, occupies two floors of a glass-box building in midtown Manhattan.
Gallery topics include: encryption, the cryptanalyst who focused on cracking the German Enigma machine in World War II; Deception, letting visitors know about the FBI's manhunt for KGB mole Robert Hanssen; Surveillance, a 360-degree room for an up-close look at Edward Snowden; Hacker, a gallery full of emojis that highlights anonymity (group); Cyber warfare, with a focus on Stuxnet; Special operations, focusing on World War II spy gadgets and state-owned enterprise officer Virginia Hall; And intelligence, it examines espionage and analyzes how the Cuban missile crisis was shaped.
Visitors have the opportunity to test their skills through a variety of "challenges" throughout the gallery -- assessing traits ranging from empathy and agility to personality, brainpower and risk tolerance. The final gallery is Debrief, where visitors receive the results of their tests and challenges and are assigned a spy role.
It's worth noting that the event is taking place in the midst of one of the biggest cryptocurrency market collapses in years. This is a pivotal moment for the booming industry, and not just because of the collapse of cryptocurrencies. We are in the gestation phase of NFT's evolution from blockchain weirdness to real life entertainment brand. Events like NFt.nyc give the "Web3" team a chance to prove that NFT culture can produce more than just scams, and that legitimate companies can be built in the space to create real products.
But the biggest surprise from the many friends we talked to at the NFT.nyc event was how impervious everyone seemed to be to the brutal market. People are still enthusiastic about the future of the industry. Some are frustrated by their short-term pain, but everyone is convinced that things are in a long-term state. It's like the ubiquitous slogan in NFT circles: Bear markets are for building.
At this NFT NYC event, we met some of our many partners in person for the first time! While telecommuting has its benefits, meeting each other in real life is even better! We look forward to more opportunities to communicate with you and build Web3 together in the future!
