With much of the focus in ReFi on impact, we wanted to take a closer look at the revenue side of the equation. Specifically, what revenue models are in use and which projects are using them. The hope is that the analysis will provide inspiration for those projects that have not yet established a revenue model.

In related news, as part of the Allo Research Quest Cohort 1, we aim to better understand the conditions that make a project financially sustainable. Our end goal is to develop a framework that articulates the concept of “funding readiness”, which we describe as the state in which a project is ready to take the leap to financial sustainability with the help of external capital. This very much ties in with the idea of a viable revenue model.
