Cellula’s Life is a fully on-chain artificial life simulation game whose gameplay is forged from the rules of Conway's Game of Life. Each Life is created through the combination of 2 to 9 Cells on the "Crafting table". From the moment of birth (synthesis), they develop and change; their vitality is determined by their "active cell count".

“Cell” is the building block of the Cellula game and the genetic compositions of organisms in the Cellula world. 2-9 cells spliced together to form a ‘Life’ in the Cellula Universe. Minting a Cell is your first step towards exploring the vast immersive world of Cellulla.

Life forms are akin to real-world organisms and constantly grow from birth. The higher the number of living cells in a Life, the greater their activities. When the quantity of living cells in their body reaches a particular threshold, they evolve in appearance.

The “Crafting Table” is a platform upon which all Life forms are crafted.
The Engine house upon which cells become Life.
The genesis of life form evolution and the data visualization.

Evolution is an essential aspect of life, what isn’t evolving is dying. Here is a typical Life form that has undergone 3 stages of evolution, each stage having unique attributes, physical appearance and cell compositions.

Cellula World's scenes can be classified into three categories: sea, land, and air. The scenes are free to use and can be utilized to nurture living forms.
When life forms evolve in diverse scenes, their appearances will vary.

Life Cells consumes a significant amount of Power.
As such there is a cooldown period which is dependent on the difficulty of the synthesis undergone by the cell. A more complex synthesis results in a longer cooldown period. Cells undergoing cooldown cannot be used for crafting a Life form until the cooldown period elapsed.

When Cells are spliced to form a Life, they evolve according to the rules of Conway's Game of Life, and the number of living cells changes during the evolution process. When crafting your Life form, a graph similar to the one below shows a Life that evolves with an increasing amount of cells.
A flattened graph shows a stagnant number of cells through the form’s evolution.
