Improvements were made to the CESS Node Territory Module, fixing the issue where files could still be uploaded after the territory expired, along with addressing several code warnings and removing invalid logs;
Fixed issues with DeOSS related to slow file download speeds and instability in pushing user file fragments to storage nodes;
Further upgrades were made to DeShare, fixing file upload failures, and inaccurate user prompts, and adding support for file link previews. Now, users can view basic file details without clicking on the link when shared on social platforms.
CESS participated in an AMA hosted by DigiFinex Global.
CESS hosted a campaign with PEPE Miner Bot on TON, encouraging users to mine $PEPE and share life’s moments with CESS’s fast, secure, and privacy-protected blockchain storage.
CESS was honored to partner with BITTON.
The CESS testnet has been updated to v0.7.6 and consists of a consensus node and a storage node. Consensus Node maintains the world state of the CESS network (by CESS Node) and serves as the “data authentication station” (by TEE Worker). Storage Node provides verifiable storage space and serves as the “data storage pool” in the CESS network.
Consensus Node [v0.7.6]
Fixed the issue where files could still be uploaded after the territory expired in the CESS Node Territory Module;
Improved the Territory Module by fixing several code warnings and removing invalid logs;
Completed all tests for the TEE Worker DCAP remote certification and merged the codebase into the main branch;
2. Storage Node [v0.7.10]
Fixed the issue where storage nodes were penalized for failing to submit storage proofs;
CESS is a blockchain powered decentralized storage and CD²N (content decentralized delivery network) infrastructure for Web3. By utilizing a DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure network) model, CESS drives mass deployment of network nodes globally through incentives. The first of its kind, DeOSS (decentralized object storage services) by CESS has significantly contributed to the gradual enrichment and flourishing of the product ecosystem within the CESS network, DeShare (online file sharing tool), and public chain snapshot storage services have been incubated. The developments for this month are as follows:
Decentralized Object Storage Service (DeOSS)
Fixed the issue where DeOSS could not push user file fragments to storage nodes;
Fixed the issue where DeOSS could not quickly download files for users due to a failed caching module;
Online File Sharing Tool (DeShare):
Fixed the issue where files failed to upload due to abnormal load balancing configurations in DeShare;
Fixed inaccurate user prompts when uploading files with illegal file names in DeShare;
Added support for file link previews in DeShare, allowing users to view basic file information without clicking the link;
CESS Website (cess.cloud):
Completed the development of the front-end page and back-end services for the Merkle Event on the official website;
172 days after the v0.7.6 testnet was launched. More details on CESS blockchain explorer. If you encounter any issues building a node, please seek assistance on CESS Discord.
28 consensus nodes
9,009 storage nodes
22.82 PiB verified storage space
29.96 PiB total storage space
Event:
The miner reward event for the CESS testnet continued as storage and consensus miners can earn points by participating. The ongoing miner reward event in the CESS testnet incentivizes participation from storage and consensus miners, allowing them to earn points while contributing to the network’s growth and development.
CESS participated in an AMA hosted by DigiFinex Global. The event, titled “DigiTalk EP9 — A Dive into DePin,” featured industry experts from Pundi X Labs, CoNET Network, Neurochain AI, Azen Protocol, Nubila Network, Gather Global, and Crypto Eagles.

CESS was delighted to host a campaign with PEPE Miner Bot, one of the most popular games on TON. While mining $PEPE, users were encouraged to utilize CESS for sharing life’s remarkable moments through photos or videos, benefiting from a fast, secure, and privacy-protected blockchain storage infrastructure.

CESS announced partnerships with BITTON, a blockchain gaming company that has quickly achieved significant global milestones. With rapid growth across social media, successful community events, innovative product features, and expanded multilingual support, BITTON has gained wide recognition in the blockchain and gaming industries. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey to revolutionize the Web3 data economy.
