Completed the development, testing, and adaptation of the CDN network cache node work reward protocol EVM smart contract, advancing the completeness of the CESS CDN network.
Finished the testing and issue resolution of the TEE Worker DCAP remote attestation mode, addressing the inability of TEE Worker nodes to update hardware configurations for enhanced security.
Completed the adaptation of go-sdk and js-sdk for all functionalities related to the Territory module, along with testing file uploads and downloads within the DeOSS system connected to the Territory module.
CESS took centre stage at IVS Crypto 2024 in Kyoto, attracting over 15,000 attendees, where Co-Founder Joseph spoke at the IVS MC3–4 Crypto Main Stage.
CESS hosted a space to dive into the rise of DePIN in the cryptocurrency space.
The CESS testnet has been updated to v0.7.6 and consists of a consensus node and a storage node. Consensus Node maintains the world state of the CESS network (by CESS Node) and serves as the “data authentication station” (by TEE Worker). Storage Node provides verifiable storage space and serves as the “data storage pool” in the CESS network.
Consensus Node [v0.7.6]
Completed the development and testing of the CDN network cache node work reward protocol EVM smart contract.
Optimized the CESS Node Territory module, enhancing the condition detection mechanism for territory purchases.
Fixed an issue in the CESS Node Territory module where territory transactions would fail if the user transferred account balances during the lock-in period.
Completed testing and issue resolution for the TEE Worker DCAP remote attestation mode, addressing the inability to upgrade node hardware configurations.
CESS is a blockchain powered decentralized storage and CD²N (content decentralized delivery network) infrastructure for Web3. By utilizing a DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure network) model, CESS drives mass deployment of network nodes globally through incentives. The first of its kind, DeOSS (decentralized object storage services) by CESS has significantly contributed to the gradual enrichment and flourishing of the product ecosystem within the CESS network, DeShare (online file sharing tool), and public chain snapshot storage services have been incubated. The developments for this month are as follows:
Decentralized Object Storage Service (DeOSS)
Upgraded go-sdk and js-sdk, completing all adaptations related to the Territory module.
Completed testing of file uploads and downloads in DeOSS after integrating the Territory module.
Updated the DeOSS user manual to align with the latest version’s features and operating logic.
Implemented a general interaction module between lightweight cache nodes and smart contracts, supporting future functional extensions through various contracts.
Developed a credit module for lightweight cache nodes to facilitate data mutual trust sharing and paid cache services between nodes and clients.
CESS Website (cess.cloud):
Completed development work for the new homepage, Faucet, DeShare, and DeOSS pages.
158 days after the v0.7.6 testnet was launched. More details on CESS blockchain explorer. If you encounter any issues building a node, please seek assistance on CESS Discord.
31 consensus nodes
10,015 storage nodes
23.40 PiB verified storage space
31.60 PiB total storage space
Event:
The miner reward event for the CESS testnet continued as storage and consensus miners can earn points by participating. The ongoing miner reward event in the CESS testnet incentivizes participation from storage and consensus miners, allowing them to earn points while contributing to the network’s growth and development.
CESS, a high-performance blockchain-powered decentralized cloud storage and content delivery network infrastructure, took center stage at IVS Crypto 2024, Japan’s foremost crypto startup conference. Held in the historical city of Kyoto, the event attracted over 15,000 attendees, including 3,000 founders, 1,500 investors, and 3,500 startups, all gathered under the theme “Cross the Boundaries.”

At IVS Crypto 2024, CESS’s co-founder Joe shared valuable insights about CESS, discussing the future of decentralized cloud storage and CD²N. He emphasized that for decentralized Web3, the performance, security, and ownership of data storage, retrieval, and management are foundational infrastructure.

CESS hosted a Space to dive into the rise of DePIN in the cryptocurrency space. The speakers included Conduit, HilesFiles, Scott Foo, deaman, and SaucyDepins. They provided insights on DePIN’s potential, areas for future growth and innovation, and more.
