SUI Wallet, a popular crypto wallet in the SUI network, is often the first real Web3 application that users encounter. It interacts with the public chain through a node and requires the node to feed the result of transactions in a timely manner. Sometimes, issues can arise with the nodes SUI Wallet uses, leading to operational problems. This is where Chainbase, a Web3 infrastructure provider, comes in handy.
Create an Account on Chainbase: The first step is to create an account on Chainbase. This process is quick and completely free. You can register here.
Log in and Create a Project: After registering, log in to the backend (wallet login is supported). Find 'Dashboard' in the left column, clock ‘New Project’, and complete the settings according to your needs.
Copy the HTTP/S API: Once you've successfully created your project, view the project details and copy the HTTP/S API.
Open SUI Wallet and Add Network: Open SUI Wallet, click 'Networks', and at the bottom of the list, click 'Add Network' to create a custom network.
Fill in the Information: On the setting page, fill in the network name, the URL you just copied, and the ChainID (the main Ethernet network is 1, for other networks, refer to the Chainbase documentation). Fill in the currency unit (e.g., SUI). Other information can be ignored. Click 'Save' to finish the setup.
