NOTE: For this tutorial you must log in to ChainJet with your wallet, ChainJet is a decentralized platform for building on-chain or off-chain task automations without having to code custom solutions. With ChainJet, users can integrate multiple services to automate all kinds of tasks. You must also know the ID of the Lens profile you want to receive the notification from (if you don’t know it below we tell you how to do it) and a Telegram account.

Let’s start with the tutorial!💪

After connecting to ChainJet with your wallet, click on create a workflow and choose the Lens Protocol integration as trigger. Select the option New post, and input the profile ID.

*You will find the ID in the Lenster profile as shown in this image:

Now, choose Telegram bot as an action and select the option Send text message or reply. Connect your Telegram bot account and complete the chat ID box.

In the Text box, use the inputs available from the trigger to customize your message. Next to the inputs there is an example of the information it will retrieve based on the last operation performed. For this workflow, we chose “name” from the profile menu and “content” from the metadata menu. You can add many more features to personalize the information the Telegram bot will provide. This is how the text will look like with the current inputs:

That’s it! Your new workflow is now up and running! You will receive a notification in Telegram with each new post.
