After 50 years of inspired prevarication, I’ve discovered a new reason to be inspired. The inspiration to write.
At last, the recognition that the desire and intention to write are personal to you. It’s part of your psychology that comes from a focused and determined mindset.
My formula for developing a focussed and determined mindset is simply this:
Wake with a purpose;
Meditation or contemplation;
Exercise;
Breakfast;
Writing;
Tick off your to-do list when writing tasks are complete.
Relax and get on with the rest of your day with a clear conscience.
The bonus is the ‘spillover’ effect. The more I write, the more accepting my subconscious is that writing is a necessary and essential daily habit.
The creative circle is complete. Happy writing!
