Three months ago, we warned you about Palantir building mark-of-the-beast infrastructure. We showed how Mordecai’s intelligence methodology reveals surveillance systems built for “legitimate purposes” inevitably weaponize against God’s people. We documented the pattern: comprehensive data collection, algorithmic targeting, persecution enablement.
You might have thought we were being prophetic. Or paranoid.
September 2025 just proved we were being accurate.
ICE signed $1.4 billion in new technology contracts in a single month - the largest surveillance spending spree in 18 years[^1]. Zignal Labs deployment providing real-time social media monitoring. Iris-scanning apps. Smartphone hacking software. Location tracking without warrants. And the crown jewel: 24/7 social media monitoring teams scanning Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit, YouTube from facilities in Vermont and California, transforming posts into “actionable leads”[^2].
That hesitation before posting biblical marriage convictions? The Bible app tracking which verses you highlighted? Your church giving patterns in financial surveillance networks? Every digital footprint now feeds systems we warned about - except they’re expanding faster than we documented. This isn’t immigration enforcement. It’s comprehensive population monitoring infrastructure that changes targets with policy shifts.
Labor unions just filed suit challenging what they call “mass, viewpoint-driven surveillance” after ICE targeted visa holders and permanent residents for expressing political opinions critical of U.S. policies or supportive of Palestine[^3]. The complaint alleges “chilling effect” causing people to self-censor online out of deportation fear. Remember: concerned parents became “domestic terrorists” in school board surveillance. FBI’s Richmond memo flagged “radical-traditionalist Catholics” as potential violent extremists[^4]. The infrastructure exists. Target parameters update instantly.

Zignal Labs’ promotional materials highlight providing “tactical intelligence” to Israeli forces in Gaza while offering the same capabilities to ICE[^6]. The platform geolocates images and videos while providing real-time alerts to “operators” - enabling tracking individuals based on TikTok videos or Facebook posts. This isn’t immigration enforcement. It’s comprehensive behavioral monitoring.
The 24/7 monitoring teams aren’t targeting criminals. Documents obtained by Wired reveal ICE plans to hire nearly 30 contractors specifically to transform social media posts and profiles into “actionable leads” for deportation operations[^2]. But here’s what Mordecai would recognize: once you build teams monitoring political speech patterns for visa holders, you have infrastructure monitoring political speech patterns for ANYONE. Parameter updates require no new capabilities.
The spending acceleration tells the real story. $1.4 billion in September alone[^1]. That’s not maintenance. That’s expansion. When Haman built his genocide infrastructure in Persia, he didn’t announce intent upfront. He built comprehensive data systems, then updated targeting parameters. ICE’s spending spree follows identical methodology: build total surveillance, determine targets later.
Will Owen from the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project nailed it: “ICE is a lawless agency that will use AI-driven social media monitoring not just to terrorize immigrant families but also to target activists opposing their abuses. This is an assault on our democracy and our right to free speech, powered by algorithms and funded by our tax dollars.”[^7]
And your complacency on privacy is a suicide pact
Our Palantir piece documented how 365 million Christians face persecution worldwide - 1 in 7 believers globally[^8]. Every persecution begins with identification. Every arrest requires surveillance. Every martyrdom needs a list.
The new ICE contracts prove the pattern we warned about: surveillance infrastructure normalized in America provides blueprints exported to hostile regimes. Zignal Labs already works with Pentagon and Israeli forces[^6]. These same capabilities transfer to China, Iran, India, Nigeria. What we tolerate in America enables persecution in Beijing, Tehran, Lagos.

Nigerian social media tracking marks Christians for violence. The technologies ICE deploys today become persecution tools tomorrow when hostile regimes adopt identical systems. The 24/7 monitoring teams targeting social media require IMMEDIATE response. Move your church’s prayer chain off Facebook to Signal this week. Not eventually. This week. When ICE contractors specifically target transforming posts into actionable leads, unencrypted prayer requests become targeting data.
Action: Schedule meeting with church leadership explaining why sensitive spiritual communication requires encrypted platforms. Reference labor union lawsuit showing viewpoint-driven surveillance already operational[^3]. Provide Signal installation tutorial for congregation.
With $1.4 billion surveillance expansion, assume every platform you’ve ever used feeds government databases. Conduct immediate audit: Which apps access your location? Your contacts? Your camera? Your microphone? Remove unnecessary permissions today.
Action: Spend 30 minutes right now reviewing phone permissions. Delete social media apps you rarely use. Minimize digital presence to essential engagement only. Every data point you eliminate reduces targeting precision.
The labor union lawsuit challenging viewpoint-driven surveillance needs Christian support[^3]. When government targets visa holders for Palestine-critical political speech, they’re building infrastructure targeting ANY unpopular theological convictions tomorrow.
Action: Contact senators and representatives demanding accountability for ICE’s surveillance expansion. File public records requests for local law enforcement’s surveillance partnerships. Support EFF’s legal battles defending digital privacy[^9].
September’s spending spree means surveillance capabilities just multiplied. Church members who previously felt safe now need immediate digital security training. The persecuted church has practiced these disciplines for decades - learn and implement NOW.
Action: Host small group session on digital security basics using EFF’s Surveillance Self-Defense guide[^9]. Focus on protecting elderly members and those less tech-literate. Collective resistance matters more than individual efforts.
When Haman’s surveillance-enabled genocide emerged, Mordecai activated Jewish community networks operating parallel to imperial tracking (Esther 4:16-17). Your church needs analog backup systems that function when digital platforms target biblical convictions.
