Located in the 23rd block of Shunyi New Town in the northeast of Beijing, the exhibition project of phase II of new China International Exhibition is an important platform and carrier to implement the strategic positioning of the capital’s “four centers” and promote the construction of international exchange center. It will strive to build a green, low-carbon and fully functional group exhibition complex. On February 2 this year, the land for the exhibition project of phase II of xinguozhan was won by the consortium of Beichen + Construction Engineering + China Construction Second Engineering Bureau for 3.54 billion yuan. The project company “Beijing Chenxing International Exhibition Co., Ltd.” was established to be responsible for the investment and construction. The total investment is about 13.7 billion yuan, the total land area is about 640000 square meters, and the total construction scale is about 600000 square meters. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in 2024.
The second phase of the new national exhibition project will build a new comprehensive exhibition venue integrating Exhibition Center, conference center and hotel. Its core functions include a new net exhibition area of about 200000 square meters and a net conference area of about 25000 square meters. After completion, it will become a comprehensive exhibition venue with the largest single scale and the most perfect functions in Beijing. It will cooperate with phase I of China New International Exhibition and supporting service facilities to jointly create a business exhibition gathering area with sufficient volume and perfect functions, greatly improve the development level of Beijing’s exhibition industry and help Beijing become the preferred city for top exhibition activities in the world.
The exhibition project of phase II of the new international exhibition is jointly designed by Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute, Zaha Hadid architectural firm and aiyikang environmental planning and design (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. the scheme absorbs the most advanced design concept in the world, takes the ribbon serving the city as the basic starting point, and integrates the elements of Chinese classic glazed tiles, The exquisite and complex traditional elements are perfectly integrated into the texture organization of the building to highlight the temperament of the capital. The overall image of the venue is dignified, atmospheric, complete streamline, green, energy-saving, intelligent and efficient, which can fully meet the needs of holding large-scale exhibitions and high-end conferences.
