At the Web3 Bootcamp organized by Womenbiz we were asked to research about dapps and their current aplication.

Although I'm quite late on this challenge, I wanted to share a little of what I found out.

The Dapps are used in many ways. Actually, they are used in DEFI (Decentralized Finance) so that anyone can access a loan without the need for a credit history. Some examples: Uniswap, Compound

They are also used in decentralized autonomous organizations, which in short are organizations in which decisions are made by consensus, examples: MarkerDAO, Optimism

Dapps can also be used in art and entertainment with the creation of games, art and music, examples: Theta Network

It seems that dapps have a long way to go and many areas in which they could be very useful, let's hope to see them grow and accompany the growth as well.
