For months, we’ve been relentlessly building, refining our infrastructure, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for instant, social-native token launches. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain to unveil our next act: Circus Protocol.

Why Circus? And what happens to Jestr?

Jestr will remain its own product within Circus Protocol. Jestr accounts on Farcaster and X will remain the same, focused on instant launches from your social feed. $JSTR token will soon be replaced with CIRCUS token (more details below).

Jestr was launched rapidly, a true "dogfooding" experiment to test our core technology in the wild. It was raw, fast, and proved the demand for instant, social-native token launches. The Jestr experiment was a success in validating our initial hypothesis and helping us understand user needs.

Since Jestr launch, our protocol has strengthened. Through collaboration with the Meteora team (powering our liquidity solutions), the Farcaster team (enhancing our social integration), Tapestry (providing onchain insight) and others, Circus is emerging as a more robust, scalable, and feature-complete platform.

To celebrate this monumental step, we’re kicking things off with the CIRCUS Genesis Airdrop!

Airdrop Period: You have a 31 day period starting May 13 and ending June 13 to earn points towards your CIRCUS token allocation.

How to Earn Airdrop Points:

• Launching: Earn points for every token you launch using Jestr.

  • Star Performance Bonus: Significant bonus points if a token you launch reaches a $500k market cap during the airdrop period.

• Buying: Earn points for buying tokens launched on Jestr. We're especially looking at early participation and consistent trading.

• Holding: Earn points for holding tokens launched via Jestr. We are taking snapshots intermittently over this 31 day period.

A note on Points: While the exact point ratios for each action will remain part of the "magic behind the curtain" to encourage organic participation and discourage gaming the system, rest assured that all these activities will be meaningfully weighted. Our goal is to reward genuine engagement.

What happens to existing JSTR holders?

1. Initial Snapshot: We recorded $JSTR balances on May 8, 2025.

2. HOLD Requirement: To be eligible for the 1:1 CIRCUS token airdrop based on that snapshot, you must continue to hold your $JSTR tokens through the final snapshot.

3. Final Snapshot: This date will be announced.

4. Airdrop: If your wallet held $JSTR continuously between the first and final snapshots, you will receive your 1:1 CIRCUS token allocation directly via airdrop. Selling or transferring your $JSTR before the final snapshot will affect your airdrop or eligibility.

What does Circus token do?

To foster a committed Circus community that embraces our long-term, fast-paced innovation approach, Circus token will use Meteora’s  Stake2Earn Pool to reward dedicated stakers, ensuring only those truly invested in our mission thrive.

30% of all fees will go to CIRCUS token stakers on top of Stake2Earn rewards.
