The Grass airdrop is a DePIN rewards program where you earn Grass Points for sharing unused internet bandwidth and later convert this activity into GRASS token allocations. Grass launched its first major airdrop (Airdrop One) in late 2024, and now the team is preparing a Season 2 airdrop expected in Q4 2025, so the window to position for the next distribution is still open.
Grass is a bandwidth-sharing DePIN network: you install the app or browser extension, let it run in the background, and it routes a slice of your unused connection to vetted partners for things like web data collection and AI training. In return, you earn Grass Points, which track how much you actually contribute.
Those points are then used to calculate how many GRASS tokens you receive in periodic airdrops. It is not a fixed “1 point = X tokens” scheme; instead, each airdrop distributes a pool of tokens between users based on their relative share of total points. If your share of the total point pool is higher at snapshot time

Use this as a simple checklist for positioning yourself for the upcoming Season 2 airdrop and later distributions:
Go to the official Grass website and connect your wallet
Connect a supported wallet in your profile.
Make sure it is the main wallet you plan to use for all future claims so that your Grass Points and rewards stay tied to one address.
Install Grass
Download the desktop app or browser extension from the official site.
Log in and make sure the client is running in the background.
Share your unused bandwidth
Keep your device online and let Grass use only the idle part of your connection.
The more stable your connection and uptime, the more Grass Points you generate over time.
Watch the Grass Points dashboard
Open your Grass dashboard regularly and monitor Grass Points growth and any extra categories like bonus epochs or additional activity-based points.
Aim to stay comfortably above any minimum thresholds the team announces before each new snapshot.
Track announcements for the Season 2 claim window
Follow official channels for confirmation of the exact snapshot date and claim window in Q4 2025.
As soon as the claim portal opens, you will already have your points, your wallet linked, and you will just need to complete the claim.
For context, Airdrop One worked roughly like this:
Users needed to earn a minimum amount of Grass Points (for example, 500+ points in any epoch) and link their wallet on the Grass dashboard before a set deadline in October 2024.
The claim window opened at the end of October 2024 on the official airdrop portal.
The claim period was later extended and ran into March 2025, giving eligible users additional time to finalize their GRASS claims.
This structure is important because Season 2 in Q4 2025 is expected to follow the same pattern: earn points, hit the minimum thresholds, wait for the snapshot, then claim within a defined window.

When a new claim window goes live, the flow is usually:
Open the official Grass airdrop portal from the dashboard or docs.
Connect your previously linked wallet.
Check your GRASS token allocation based on your points.
Accept the terms and confirm the transaction.
Verify that the tokens arrive in your wallet and that the balance updates correctly.
With Season 2 expected in Q4 2025, the practical strategy is simple: keep the app running, grow your Grass Points, link your wallet as soon as linking opens, and be ready to move quickly as soon as the next claim window is announced.
