At one point during World War II, the British Army suffered a defeat on the front line and suffered a severe setback in morale. Churchill, the commander-in-chief of the army, came to the front to inspect and encouraged the soldiers.

Churchill delivered an impassioned speech on a makeshift podium, to which the audience applauded. When Churchill stepped down, the ground was slippery because of the rain, and he accidentally fell and fell on his back.
The soldiers had never seen such a big figure fall over in public, and Churchill was very fat, which made him look very funny, so they all laughed.

An officer hurriedly stepped forward to help Churchill up, and scolded the soldiers: "Don't laugh! You are very rude to the commander-in-chief!"
But Churchill said, "Don't stop them, let them laugh as much as they want!" Then he laughed too.
Then, Churchill walked to the podium and said, "The somersault I fell just now is the best part of this speech, because this somersault can inspire your fighting spirit even more than the speech just now!"

The audience immediately burst into thunderous applause.
Churchill's fall had a very good effect, and the soldiers fought bravely since then.
After making a foreign appearance in public, instead of trying to save face, it is better to push the boat with the current and turn the foreign appearance into a favorable factor, and make the ugly into the glory.
