DAO treasuries cumulatively hold over $11 billion in value. From the start and end of 2021, this number grew 40x. The top 15 treasuries today hold over $7 billion together, which is about 60% of all value in DAO treasuries.

BitDAO is a collective of builders and stakeholders enabling mutually beneficial Web3 ecosystems of people, products, and public goods. The DAO with billions in existing assets and aims to support builders of the decentralized economy and accelerates next-gen organizations.

Web3 is a collective pursuit. BitDAO want to leverage its billions in assets to grow an ecosystem of Autonomous Entities (AEs) with a shared vision for the future.

BitDAO is now expanding through a range of web3 verticals, such as: gaming with Game7, Eth Scaling with zkDAO, student bodies with EduDAO, arts with PleasrDAO, product labs, venture, and treasury management strategies etc.

• BIP-04 Swap BIT for FTT (2021/10/20)

  100,000,000 BIT tokens (~1% total supply) for 3,362,315 FTT tokens (~1% total supply)

  This proposal has been submitted by Alameda.

• BIP-09 $BIT Purchase Program (2022/04/25)

  The purpose is to increase the economic connection between BitDAO Treasury growth and the $BIT token.

  1. The “Targeted Daily Purchase Amount (TDPA)” is set at $0.7M/day (~$21M per month).

  2. If the BitDAO Treasury is growing faster than forecasted asset deployment opportunities, the TDPA can be increased.

• BIP-12 $BIT Purchase Plus+ (2022/06/22)

  Recommendation: increase Target Daily Purchase Amount (TDPA) of $BIT

  1. Adjust the TDPA to $1.5M USDT/Day (~$45M/Mth), starting 2022 July 1st.

  2. Fund the purchasing with assets from the BitDAO Treasury. This change enables increased flexibility and simplicity for setting the TDPA, as it will no longer be capped by Bybit’s monthly contribution amount.

• Treasury value ~$1103M (~$1.1B) - Date: 06-22

  • Diversity Treasury: $BIT~$409M (~37%); $ETH~$247M(~22%); USDT+USDC(~31%)

  • Worth to watch here is that: if DAO holding large sums of the native token, means that when price changes huge, can affect the treasury value massively.

  • EX: Treasury value from ~$2100M at April 2022 to now only ~$1103M in just 2 month

• Annualized Treasury Inflows from Bybit ~>$800M (based on last 30 days);

  • Monthly inflows: ~ $66M; Daily inflow~$2.1M

  • The current contribution is composed of 50% ETH and 50%USDT/USDC

• Current FDV MarketCap ~$4.4B at June 22, 2022

Curious if BitDAO just “BUY & HOLD” through BIP-12 Purchase (~$540M/Year) to current status without consider others situation, how long does it reach BNB & FTT FDV

• BNB is now~$38B about 8.6x larger→ 70years to reach →and Bit price will be ~$3.8

• FTT is now~$8.98B about 2x larger → 16years to reach →and Bit price will be ~$0.88

Bit’s total supply is too large about 10B, which is BNB’s 61x larger and FTT’s 30x larger. Also lack of some native infrastructure use, and it’s still lot of supply％ is at cliff period.

→But We can see recently one proposal from Ben, CEO of Bybit, he propose to uses $BIT as native token to do some L1 or EVM opportunity. and Some DAO members recommend burn mechanism.

→So, it is still interesting to see how this largest DAO gonna do in the future.

Future is exciting, we never know the answer. Explore Web 3 and DAO together, we are still early and enjoy the process, let time tell us :)
