So I have recently read "The Gravity Aging Hypothesis". On an abstract note they work on longevity stuff. I actually liked the name of the research entity, Continue , and I thought to name the same for this blog series.
When someone asks me what's my end goal or long-term goal is, I generally lie by saying something else, but honestly, it's to live to longest it can be possible. Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by technology. When all kids are busy buying the barbie phone, my eyes were on a long unsold walkie talkie in the shop beside my school. As always, my mom bought it for me. I was surprised by its capability. When my dad bought a computer, I was wondering what the heck was happening! When I typed my name, it was visible on the screen; when I moved the mouse, some pointer was moving on the screen. Many tiny things like these have given me so much curiosity about technology. Growing up, I could see phones move from a dial pad to a touchscreen that worked by just touching the screen. CRT monitors were getting thinner. I was always truly, truly fucking fascinated. Fast forward to 2025, I'm 21 years old, I can see Artificial Intelligence, Cryptocurrencies, Quantum Computers, Virtual Reality, Nuclear Energy, Genome editing, Space exploration, Undersea exploration, 3D-Printers, GPUs, Robots and many, many, many more.
Isn't this the best time to live in the human history? From the first transistor and information theory in 1950's to now, the pace of advancement in 'technology' is nothing short of a miracle. So many things have happened from the day I was born till today. At this pace I'm stunned by what could actually happen by the end of this century. And I want to witness the progress of technology as long as possible. But yeah along with all those things above there exits pollution, processed food, sugar, decreasing quality of water, depreciating lifestyle, cigarettes, alcohol etc which are taking away the lifespan of humans. I believe technology can crack this. Like I have said before I want to live to the longest to witness the unprecedented exponential technological evolution of our species.
Summary is that " I want to live longer". So does it demand some sacrifices, discipline and commitment. This is my first attempt into extending my life to the max.
I want to start this by working on three things :
Cut down on chilled carbonated/sugar drinks. (Should I give a reason for this??)
Cutting down short form content (which I already started from quite a time and fyi Meta-analysis of ~100k people shows how it is associated with decreased cognition and increased stress + anxiety. )
Turning on Warm Mode on all my devices.
Today is 23 November 2025, I'll get back again after 2 weeks to give an update!
