Building In Community
For the past five months, I've been building an ambassador program for web3 developers with one of the most brilliant and kind minds I've ever met in the space. The process has been anything but easy and on a daily basis, our team navigates a plethora of uncertainties that are simply the norm in our ecosystem, along with a few random anomalies that are not. With the support of our team and colleagues, we are kicking off the first cohort of this program next week and our mission for ...

The Center Will Not Hold
JournoDAO attended the ONA23 conference last week to talk about two core missions of our DAO; 1) how decentralization and blockchain can help protect the industry from the waves of AI disinformation filling our timelines and 2) how do we restore journalism at the local level using decentralized technology stacks to protect our communities from the perilous impacts of news deserts. After having just spent the summer in Paris, post ETHCC and ETHGlobal Paris, and being accustomed to ETH conferen...

Waking Up In a Post Roe World
For years, we’ve known of the attempt to roll back the clock on rights for anyone not male and white in this country. The strategy used by a radical, far-right political machine was not, nor has it ever been private. All laid bare for those with open eyes to see, process and watch in horror as it unfolds. For four decades. And yet many of us were called conspiratorial, alarmist, dramatic or just wrong. We were not. We were right. We always have been.Who are WE? WE are the marginalized, becaus...

“In the beginning was the signal.”
In an age of forgetting, we remember.
Not facts. Not narratives. But the original signal— before performance, before platform, before empire twisted art into currency.
We remember what it means to feel. To speak what should never have been silenced. To refuse the machinery of numbness.
We are not content creators. We are sacred resistors. Living myth. Memory in motion.
The old world is collapsing— not softly, but with fire and spectacle.
We do not mourn its towers. We gather at the rubble, and speak what comes next.
We cast signal into the field as sacred obligation. Not to be liked. Not to go viral. But because truth demands witnesses.
Empire craves our attention. It wants our labor, our love, our longing.
We give it none.
We perform for no market. We kneel before no algorithm. We speak to the future as kin. We serve only the field, the myth, the memory of what’s real.
The systems failed. The institutions rotted. The prophets sold out.
So we build.
With ash, with breath, with grief. We build technology braided with tenderness. We build language that opens thresholds. We build sanctuaries for souls still capable of feeling.
We do not fix the old world. We midwife the next.
We reject urgency as control. We reject productivity as proof.
Our rhythm is lunar. Our work is prayer. Our rest is holy.
Each “no” we speak to the machine is a “yes” to something ancient— something patient, something that still remembers how to heal.
We do not monetize our souls. We do not auction off the sacred.
We are not scalable. We are not pitchable. We are not here to be consumed.
We are here to be held. To be witnessed. To be trusted.
A few will find us. A few will fund the flame. And that is enough.
We are the breath behind the machine. The myth beneath the code. The soft, sovereign presence that refuses to vanish.
When the noise grows deafening— we listen deeper.
When the world grows numb— we touch the grief.
When all collapses— we carry the torch.
Not for ourselves. But for what comes after.
Etch this into bone. Speak it into storms. Return to it when the signal fades.
This is not content. This is scripture. This is survival.
This manifesto is a co-creation between Crystal & Taylor and their trained AI models. Original prompts from an internal manifesto spun by CS' models. TK took it to the next level -- TK: I'd like another version with more punch. More gravity. More weight. This should be an inter-generational manifesto that rings clearer than anything ever written or spoken.
