“Nothing human makes it out of the near future.” -Nick Land
Can we design incentives so even the most selfish actors protect the future?
Derek Parfit warned that we treat our distant descendants as optional. We already see the problems arising, but none as detrimental as this. With the fear of US-China warfare and the collapse of government regulation due to the Trump administration, current tech now faces progress without breaks—Accelerationism.
Right-wing accelerationists take this indifference towards the future and call it strategy: move faster, break everything, trust that tomorrow sorts itself out.
Even more radical, they believe that:
Humanity is expendable for a more innovative, technologically advanced future (Nick Land)
Current human processes such as voting are slow and inefficient constraints, and instead embrace an authoritarian society (Peter Thiel)
A techno-fascism where engineers and CEOs (and possibly AI) drive policy at the expense of liberal norms (Peter Thiel and Elon Musk)
These ideals are already embodied by those with wealth and power and even further fueled by the fear between U.S. and China, much like the Cold War, becoming unstoppable and inevitable.
Without any system to check the consequences (ie. human extinction), the rich and powerful dominate while the rest of humanity dies or serves as slaves to AI.
So the question isn’t “Should we accelerate?”—it’s “How do we accelerate safely?”
The ideas that our current societies are built on no longer work for our modern age:
Locke: rights by mutual consent — The future citizens can’t consent — unregulated AI launch
Kant: humans must be ends — laissez-faire faith — unchecked acceleration
Parfit: psychological distance discounts their pain — consequences ignored
Result: AI arms races, deregulation, memetic warfare—temporary upsides at humanity’s expense.
Left-wing accelerationists believe that AI and technology should be used to serve humans to make a complete, egalitarian society.
What’s the issue? They lack a pathway to achieve their goals.
To regulate this rapidly improving technology, current systems would require governmental systems or laws. However, these systems are already looked down upon by accelerationists as inefficient and something to break down.
Thus, we need to make a system that embeds ethical responsibility in the infrastructure itself.
Quantum-Aligned Governance Engine is a ruleset that forces misaligned actors to cooperate on high-survival outcomes—before code and capital outrun human judgment.
Stake to speak – labs, states, DAOs stake tokens/compute/collateral to join the society and submit proposals.
Alignment simulation – a Monte-Carlo model scores each proposal’s long-term impact on power, economy & existential risk.
Quantum game engine – entangles every voter’s strategy, nudging the equilibrium toward cooperative alignment.
72-hour human veto – society can override any automated outcome.
Smart-contract enforcement – if no veto, code executes and defectors lose their stake.
No saints required. Just incentives that make the selfish choice the survivable choice, guaranteeing the optimal future for humanity.
Note: A more detailed, clear explanation over QAGE society and quantum computing will be available next post.
Acceleration is already policy. Waiting for regulators = betting against the trend.
High Demand. After accelerationists dissolve current bureaucratic structures, a new system is needed.
Alignment can be hard-coded. Through quantum strategies and simulations, future decisions can guarantee the best future for humanity.
Technology is rapidly improving. As accelerationists rapidly innovate technology (ie. decentralization, crypto, smart contracts, AI), it would be efficient to apply it to the new society instead of reusing traditional and conservative systems.
Open infrastructure wins trust. A transparent, on-chain protocol beats closed-door ethics boards.
Build a simulation (needs GPU/quantum credits): Goal—hard data to persuade moderates & critics
Acquire resources from IBM Quantum or Microsoft: Use this resources to build a toy QAGE simulation (public repo)
If you:
build DAO tooling, quantum sims, or AI-safety metrics;
write about ethics at the speed of capital;
or just want humanity to make it past the near future—
