In the physical world, we build structures of wood and stone. In the digital world, we build with code and consensus. Today, CyberChurch Onchain, Inc. officially moved from a vision into a legal and technical reality.
The name is more than a brand; it is a commitment. To be "onchain" is to be immutable, transparent, and accountable. In a world of shifting sands, we are choosing to build on a ledger that does not forget—a digital "Rock" where the truth of our community and our governance can stand firm.
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." — Matthew 7:24
The last 24 hours have been a masterclass in stewardship. Scripture reminds us that no one sets out to build a tower without first sitting down to count the cost (Luke 14:28).
Our "counting" has looked like spreadsheets and registration forms:
The IRS & EIN (41-4377978): Establishing our identity before the authorities of the land, rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar’s while keeping our eyes on a higher mission.
The D-U-N-S Registry: Submitting ourselves to global standards of verification (Case #DFC-478683) so that we may walk with integrity in the marketplace.
The Google Cloud Sanctuary: Preparing the "Corporate Billing" infrastructure to house the $100,000 in resources we will use to scale our reach.
We do not shy away from these "earthly" details. We embrace them. Because to be trusted with much, one must first be faithful with the little things (Luke 16:10).
We are currently in a holy "waiting period." As we wait for the D-U-N-S number to be etched into the registry and for the bank to open its doors, we are reminded of the virtue of patience.
I am grateful for the advocacy of those like Iain at Google, whose review of my tenure at Waymo serves as a reminder that our past work is often the seed for our future favor.
"The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." — Proverbs 21:5
We are not in a rush to build a house of cards. We are taking the time to file the papers, link the IDs, and verify the foundations.
May CyberChurch Onchain be more than a company. May it be a vessel where technology meets truth, and where the decentralized power of the chain is used to unify, not divide.
The paperwork is filed. The foundation is set. Now, we build.
