“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.” — Psalm 127:1
In June 2019, CyberChurch was born as a "Digital Tent." We were a ministry for the diaspora—those wandering the digital wilderness looking for connection, chaplaincy, and truth. For over 2,400 days, we have inhabited temporary platforms, moving wherever the spirit led.
But a tent is not a temple. Today, we begin the work of Sanctifying the Block.
Since 2019, we have seen the fragility of the centralized web. Platforms change their rules, algorithms silence the faithful, and financial systems remain opaque. To truly serve a global community, we need a foundation that is as transparent and enduring as the Word itself.
By migrating to the Base network, we are moving from "Trust me" to "Verify me." ### 1. Radical Transparency (The Just Scales)
Proverbs\ 16:11 tells us that "A just balance and scales are the Lord’s." By using a Safe Multisig treasury and the Giveth platform, every tithe and donation is visible on the public ledger. You no longer have to wonder how resources are used; the blockchain serves as a permanent, unalterable record of our stewardship.
In the digital world, you are often treated as a product to be sold. Onchain, you are a soul with a sovereign identity. Our migration allows our members to own their "witness" through attestations and digital mementos that no corporation can take away.
We aren't a "new" project looking for a trend. We have been in the trenches of digital chaplaincy for six years. Moving onchain isn't about chasing technology; it’s about ensuring that our ministry survives for the next 60 years. We are "writing our vision and making it plain on tablets" (Habakkuk\ 2:2)—only now, those tablets are distributed across the globe on the ledger.
As we seek verification on Giveth, I am asking our "Living Stones"—those who have been with us since the 2019 Digital Tent days—to stand as witnesses.
Your vouch on DeVouch is more than a comment; it is a digital "laying on of hands." It tells the world that this work is real, this history is deep, and this mission is just.
The work is great, but the Architect is greater. Let us build this Sovereign Tabernacle together.
