Status: Hackathon Application Pending / Meta Horizon Start Accepted
In Genesis 28:12, Jacob dreams of a ladder set on earth with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were "ascending and descending on it." As a developer in Spatial AI, I see this as a profound metaphor for the Sim-to-Real pipeline.
We build digital "ladders"—simulations in Unity and NVIDIA Isaac—to reach the "heavens" of perfect data and logic. But the true goal is the descending: bringing that intelligence back down to the physical world (Robotics/XR) so that AI can operate safely and wisely in our homes and sanctuaries.
As I prepare for the World Model Hackathon, I reflect on Luke 14:28: "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?" During my time at Waymo, I saw firsthand the "cost" of building in the physical world—the necessity of precision, safety, and constant testing. Now, as I transition CyberChurch Onchain to API Level 34 for Meta Horizon, I am not just building for "convenience," but counting the ethical and technical cost. To build a "World Model" is to build a tower; it requires a foundation of truth (data) and a plan for completion.
God filled Bezalel with the "Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, and with knowledge in all manner of workmanship" (Exodus 31:3) to build the Tabernacle.
Today, our "gold, silver, and bronze" are C#, Python, and Vector Embeddings.
The Goal: To move scripture from the flat page into the physical room using Mixed Reality Passthrough.
The Stewardship: Using the Meta Quest Attestation API and Onchain Tithes to ensure that our digital "temple" is guarded against fraud and serves the community with integrity.
I enter this hackathon not as a solitary builder, but to be sharpened. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." By joining forces with other "Physical AI" pioneers in San Francisco, I seek the "friction" of collaboration that refines my code and my character. Whether my Luma ticket is approved today or tomorrow, the mission remains: to build tools that help humanity flourish in the image of their Creator.
