Dawn joined Tools for Humanity, to build next generation finance into World
We’re excited to share that earlier this year Dawn joined Tools for Humanity, having been acquired by the company, to build next generation finance into World App. We started Dawn in 2023 with the belief that a new internet-native economy was emerging on top of blockchains. The world will embrace blockchains through mobile devices first; but we felt too many of the interfaces were built for a seasoned audience, with broken wallet connections and failing transactions too often the norm. We bui...
Building Web3 into the Web
Together with members of Geometry - Tom Walpo and Ben Levy - we’ve been thinking about how we upgrade the Internet and build Web3 directly into the Web, such that it is available by default in every webpage. Every web app could become a financial app, enabling:Micropayments - content creators can directly monetise, paywalls can offer one time payment optionsSeamless web purchases - assets can be bought and swapped within web articlesDigital content integrity - the authenticity of all digital ...

Dawn’s next release is out!
We believe that the chain you are connected to on Ethereum should ultimately be abstracted away. What matters is the action you are taking on Ethereum, not which backend network the transaction occurs on!
It is also tricky and confusing to get an overview of where all your assets are stored when they’re scattered across chains.
As a first step, Dawn now shows all your assets in one place without you having to select between chains.

The same is true when you are sending tokens. Now simply choose from a list of your assets across all supported chains before clicking Send.

Zora recently launched a Layer 2 built on the Optimism OP stack, called the Zora Network. This means that for supported NFTs, it is far, far cheaper to mint them there than on Mainnet.
Dawn has now added support - get minting!
