Omniwebers, Alpha Phase is Now in Full Swing - And We're Breaking Down What Your Points Really Mean
The Omniweb alpha phase is in full swing, and our new identity hub is driving exponential user growth across the network. As our development team pushes forward with development of Phase 3 of the rewards program, we wanted to take a moment to pull back the curtain on something that matters to all of you: what exactly do those points you're earning actually mean?
Demos Identity Hub:
This marks the second major leg of our community campaign. Our testnet incentives program has officially closed, and what a journey it's been. Those brave pioneers who participated were allocated substantial rewards - with Voyagers who completed all tasks receiving an allocation of 140,000 DEM tokens. Not bad for being early to the party.
Now we're in the alpha phase, leveraging our own identity solutions to track point metrics with unprecedented precision. But here's the thing - at Demos, we've always said we're all about community. Coming from the trenches ourselves, we know that vague "points programs" with mysterious valuations aren't going to cut it.
Transparency isn't just a buzzword for us - it's a core value.
In an effort to be completely transparent with our community, we're sharing exactly what a point means in the Demos ecosystem:
Right now, each point you earn corresponds to 30 DEM tokens.
Let's break that down:
Simple social sign-up (Twitter + web3 accounts): 270 DEM tokens
Each additional referral: 90 DEM tokens
The math is simple, the rewards are real
We're maintaining the point to Dem ratio until 2.5 Million of our total token supply is consumed. This allocation will initially be utilised for referrals and we will very soon introduce new tasks until the 2.5 Million is allocated
Once we hit that milestone, we'll reassess and adjust as needed to ensure sustainable growth while maintaining meaningful rewards for our community.
There's a total of 8% of the Demos supply allocated for airdrops across our entire campaign lifecycle - testnet, alpha, beta, and ongoing community rewards. That's 80 million tokens dedicated to rewarding the builders, testers, and believers who are helping us create the Omniweb.
So there's plenty more to go after.
We won't speculate on future token valuations - that's not our style. But consider this: you're being allocated tokens in a project that's actively blending the worlds of Web2 and Web3, creating infrastructure that doesn't just connect blockchains, but connects the entire digital ecosystem.
The Demos Network represents a groundbreaking advancement in blockchain technology, acting as a borderless interconnectivity layer that enables seamless interoperability and advanced functionalities across various chains and web contexts.
When you're building the foundation for the next iteration of the internet itself, the sky really is the limit.
The numbers speak for themselves. The transparency is real. The opportunity is massive.
Referral’s is just the start, when we move to phase 3 there will be more opportunities for testers, builders and further community opportunities as the Demos ecosystem comes to life.
The dawn of the new internet is approaching fast.
