After a successful launch, it is time to look forward to the next phases in the development of the Diecast Racer world & ecosystem.
The first steps have been taken in regards to a new track design, indeed the designers have already started their work!
The prototype track has served its purpose as a proof of concept; and indeed, our concept works wonderfully well.
On our prototype track we have thus far conducted 9 livestream races + betting on our working betting dAPP built on Base.
Our onchain custom betting dAPP works exactly as intended, like it says it should on the box.
Our races have been conducted with:
Livestream filmed racing
Livestream race commentary
Bets placed in tandem with the livestream races
Users able to successfully claim rewards
Broadcast simultaneously to our dAPP, to Telegram and to X.
Development work has also been subsequently completed on a beta Telegram DCR Notifications Bot that we will expand utility on over time since DCR launched.
Additionally, development work has begun on a DCR Warpcast Notifications Frame
Now, the time has come for a track upgrade!
The initial phase of the new track build has been set in motion and over the course of the next two weeks our new design team will draw up Computer Aided Design (CAD) plans for a 3D model of our new track.
Our aim is to get the total track running length coming in at 30m to 35m which will significantly increase the race duration of the cars.
A number of new bends and curves are to be implemented in the new track design in order to keep the race action lively & interesting.
The majority of the track will be 3D printed to ensure a consistent & professional race experience and look.
Diecast Racer will keep working and building to deliver on the vision & we believe that without a doubt, a new high-end finish track will allow for a marketable product and stunning visuals for socials purposes.
A lot of additional work is also being done in regards to new figurines, new cars, new graphic design which we will cover in a new Paragraph article.
