NFTs, Social Applications, and Gaming
The Idea I have for the ideathon is an NFT project for a clothing brand. The NFT will be like a certificate of authenticity for a physical item. It can be a T-shirt, sweatshirts, hoodies, trousers, socks, and even shoes. There is no limit to the use of the certificate, depending on what the brand company is selling. The concept is to have the NFT generated when someone buys one of the outfits (one or more, but each of them will have its own). So when the person receives its order , there will be a QR code to scan, and when the person scans the QR code, they will be able to see the NFT with its name, which is certified that it is the original, and note that it is not a pirate copy. The NFT can also have a second utility, like a membercard for the brand, and give perks like access to exclusive events, discounts on future purchases, access to exclusive presales, or VIP access to some limited edition sales (maybe 1 hour before public sales). We can think of this kind of NFTS like Soul bound tokens, and since Aptos has this possibility, we can use it to have unique NFTs for each product, or they can just be transferrable. Let's say you bought the product, but after a few years you want to give it to your little brother and/or sister because you grow too much. That could be a great way to pass on the legacy, and you can buy new ones (yeah, because you love the brand and you need to have yours too after gifting your sibling). So having an authentic NFT that is certified by the company brand is another way to fight against illegal copies and sales of a brand, so I think that it can be a good project.
