Pixelpepe’s are the first 1563 officially airdropped inscription by the ordinal wallet to the user who did at least one transaction on the ordinal wallet before the 777888 blocks.
I believe this is a solid ordinal as compared to others as the real Ordinal wallet team themselves are behind Pepe’s inception. There were many other fake pepe copies incripted after that but, Beware of scams because the real pepe collection starts from inscription 170111 to 171690. There are only 1563 pepe that will exist ever and that’s why it is super rare unlike punks, dog punk, and BAYC apes having 10k collections.
As pepe is being traded on an ordinal wallet and ordswap, it has reached a cumulative volume of 65BTC, around $1.5m considering the BTC price is $25k, with 697 sells. Right now at the time of writing this post only 352 pepes out of 1563 are listed on the marketplace whereas others are still bullish and act as diamond hands even though pepe corrected 75% from 0.19 BTC to 0.054 BTC.
I believe Pepe's airdrop was the most generous airdrop because nobody had the idea of Airdropping and therefore no airdrop hunter got it as they plan. It was a sudden airdrop for the retailer (Not whales) who generally used ordinal wallets without any expectation from Ordinal wallet.
Even after 75% correction whales are buying pepe because they know something that paper hands don’t. You can always check the holder’s status on ordspace.org. As I have been tracking Pepe and its states since its inception. Earlier there were no Pepe holders above 4 Pepe, then after fifteen days, we had 2 wallets with >10 Pepe.
From 10 March, when Pepe started tanking whales were accumulating more. when I checked today, at the time of writing this post. Hurraah Top shark (to be whales shortly) accumulated two more Pepe. See below.
As per the holders, I have derived some naming for holders for the pepe community. Please bear with me. As of now, there is no one who is holding more than 20 pepe so let’s put some targets for sharks and dolphins to become the Whale of pepe community. We need more Whales. Meanwhile, All other categories octopus, fish, and shrimp, should step up by buying more pepes. Yes, we can do that.
If you check the market cap of pepe on ordmarketcap.io it is the seventh highest with a $2.1m market cap, whereas the sub 10k collection is topping the market cap with $39m. In future with a strong backup of OW team and utility, Pepe can easily surpass $15m which will put Pepe at 0.3BTC for each pepe. There is room to grow. However being 7th on the market cap list, Pepe is the most traded (40% of total trade )ordinal on the ordswap and ordinal wallet. That’s what the PEPE Power is.
As ordinal are in early age and we have reached only 500k inscription. Once we hit millions or tenths of a million, you can imagine how rare the good collection that is sub 200k will be. Same as rare as the sub 10k collection now looks.
Out of all sub 200k collections, bitcoin bandits (512) bitcoin machines (758) and bitcoin bears (1111) have collections of ordinals less than Pepe (1563). All other collections include more than 5k such as Bitcoin punk 10k.
As per some Discord talk, there might be some utility for pepe such as developing the pepe based NFT games (Already Hinted). But yes BTC Defi and GamiFi will take a lot of time but will happen 100%. Who thought BTC will allow NFTs too, that we are talking about now?
Once Bitcoin allows some DAO, DeFi and GamiFi, the Pepe holder will surely get voting rights.
As we know that Brc-20 is just getting started, the #pepe token may be on its way to being airdropped to pepe holders. Their first child #PEPE will be given some utility at a certain point of time when needed. . There are endless possibilities to utilize Pepe but yes @ordinalswallet team is the ultimate decider, who knows they utilize PePE in such a way we never thought of or mentioned here.
