This is a series of posts related to Understanding Basic Due Diligence. It is fundamentally critical to understand that due diligence in the modern world is a necessary evil. It can result in serious lost opportunities and funds, or cause people to fall victim to scams due to the headaches that arise from the sheer number of scams currently in our world.
I firmly believe that blockchain, combined with artificial intelligence (yes, even LLMs [large language models]) using verified, immutable data, will be the only future in which our world does not devolve into more chaos of misinformation and disinformation.
To that end, this series focuses on the basics, but we will delve deeper and only utilize publicly available information, as everyone should have access to it. However, because of the nature of some of these posts and the information used herein, I'm publishing them on my former law firm's website, as some articles will contain examples of Cal Evans of Gresham International's "behavior," and so he cannot complain to this website.
