Did you watch the Miss Universe 2022?
Miss USA, R’Bonney Gabriel, was crowned Miss Universe 2022!
Sure, there were lots of pretty ladies from all over the world parading and sashaying in glitzy dresses.
What was fascinating was the costume contest section.
“The pageant’s National Costume Contest allows contestants to use their bodies as an artistic, political, and cultural canvas of sorts and encourages them to go all out — sometimes, so far out that viewers have no idea what the fish is happening onstage.”
Miss El Salvador wowed everyone with a Bitcoin costume.
The announcer declared:
“You don’t need a sash to walk around dressed in cash.”

Miss USA came out with the moon.
Miss Bahamas waltz out with fireworks attached to her hips.
Miss Trinidad and Tobago was completely covered in a bright gold doll costume.
Miss Netherlands was literally a giant stroopwafel.
Miss Thailand had a dress made out of soda tabs.
I mean, all jokes and fun aside, these costumes must have cost a fortune to make!
Not just the money and resources but the time and amount of creativity needed.

Dozens of artists, costume designers and technical workers were needed to put together a costume that would astound the entire world.
Wow, some of the costumes are indeed dazzling and remarkable.
Watching the Miss Universe highlights, I want to point someone out.
There are references to Bitcoin, sustainability, up cycling, socio-economic issues, patriotism, family upbringing and female empowerment.
It means something.
Those are the things society care most about currently.
Maybe it will change in a few months or years.
But right now, these are the rising trends and issues that are bubbling under the surface.
Even Bitcoin was brought into the mix.

Hate it or live it, seems like big brother Bitcoin has become as mainstream as it can get.
Millions caught the Miss Universe pageant.
Even if Miss El Salvador didn’t win a podium finish, she unwittingly became Bitcoin’s largest and prettiest ambassador!
Bitcoin just got exposed to the entire Miss Universe audience.
It’s might and reach continues on.
Bitcoin maximalists and Michael Saylor must be rejoicing and reveling.
Congrats to Miss USA, but I think Bitcoin was the real winner here.
