Elizabeth Holmes booked a one-way flight to Mexico after she was convicted.
The best part was that she only started defending and justifying herself AFTER she got caught by the prosecutors.
“The hope was that the verdict would be different and Ms. Holmes would be able to make this trip to attend the wedding of close friends in Mexico,” an attorney for Holmes said in a filing.
Trippy.
Is she really expecting the judge to allow that?
Is she really going to pretend that buying a one-way ticket out of US soil and into Mexico is not obvious to the people trying to put her in jail?
Either she is delusional, or she is wicked smart.
I would say the latter.
She knew she had to gain approval and inform the justice department of any travel plans.
She is a convicted felon, pregnant with her second child and appealing her sentence.
Because of her pregnancy, she will be sent to a minimum-security prison instead.
Not the harsh, cruel, cold and bitter jail houses for the hardened criminals who smoked one too many blunts of course.
While awaiting her appeal and for the past few years, she has been living it large.
“She is reportedly living with her partner, Billy Evans, and their son in a 74-acre, $135 million mansion in the storied Green Gables estate in Woodside, California. Evans is the son of the southern California hotel magnate Bill Evans and a graduate of M.I.T.”
She pays $13,000 monthly to upkeep the estate.
No no, not rent.
Just to upkeep the estate, like utilities, gardeners, janitors, cleaners and such, as I would imagine.
Wicked eh!
Listen to this:
“The property boasts six homes, in addition to the main house, according to its listing on Christie’s International Real Estate.
Three swimming pools dot the grounds of the property as well as a tennis court, a flower and vegetable garden, and a reservoir that exclusively services the estate.”
I mean, that is just decadence on a whole new level.
That’s almost a mini palace fit for royalty!
Gentle reminder, this is the poor girl who had the entire world hate and diss her for making a small blunder of misunderstanding her own technology.
How epic.
By the way, the estate once hosted the 20th Anniversary Gala of the United Nations in 1965!
Elizabeth, I am amazed how resourceful you are.
I am kind of amazed how clever and well thought-out her every move is.
So yea, did she make a silly error by booking a one-way flight to Mexico to attend a wedding?
Could it be a clerical or forgetful mistake?
Nah, she probably planned to escape.
Till she got caught and now her team of lawyers are spinning another story of how she misunderstood blah blah.
All the best for her appeal.
Thanks to people like her, other bad actors like Sam Bankman-Fried will have a much harder time worming their way out of prison after what they did.

Did Elizabeth Holmes deserve to go to jail?
