Oh my, the crypto gods really doesn’t want me to stop writing about crypto it seems.
They keep giving me juicy news and incredulous stories to write and reflect about.
I’m about to check in to Crypto Rehab soon.
This one really fires me up and gave me motivation.
My cat read about it and became a lion.
But first…
Razzlekhan.
Crocodile of Wall Street.
Incoherent cringe-worthy rapper by day, highly sophisticated and deadly hacker by night.
Whatever you do, for your own sanity, don’t Google her rap videos.
It will give you migraines that will be incurable.
It will exhaust all your cringe for the rest of the year.

Apparently, she and her husband Ilya Lichtenstein, allegedly stole/laundered $4.5B worth of Bitcoins from the defunct Bitfinex crypto exchange back in 2016.
On the real, I don’t think they were capable, technically speaking.
They might have just been the scapegoats and got the part of laundering the stolen funds.
But these are just postulations and guesses.
Whoever knows right.
Anyways, she is under house arrest while waiting for her trial.
Her husband is already in jail.
But she got busy.

“According to Bloomberg News, she’s been hired by an unnamed tech company that doesn’t mind the fact she’s under 24-hour house arrest.”
She can even travel to work in bustling New York 3 times a week and be paid more than $10k/month now.
“Morgan will now serve as a “growth marketing and business development specialist,” and the name of her new employer is being kept secret.”
Gentle reminder, everyone is cutting costs and firing workers left and right.
Crypto companies have seen record layoffs and the ecosystem is currently under immense pressure.

Got me thinking: why would they allow a person waiting for trail to get a job and work in the same industry she potentially stole from?
It is confusing and ironic.
So if a soon-to-be-convicted crypto criminal can still hustle and get a job while waiting for her trial, you bet you can do anything.
But seriously, who wants her advice on anything?
Who is desperate enough to seek Razzlekhan’s holy advice?
Who is crazy enough to associate themselves with such a colorful character?
Like I said, crypto land never fail to amuse me each day.
Hmm maybe someone might employ SBF while he is locked up in his parents’ home?
He might be able to do remote work with his flip-phone, if you ask nicely.
-
Should people waiting for trial be allowed to have jobs?
