First-person shooters are one of the most well-liked genres in video games. It exhibits the thrill of engaging with enemies and killing them with a headshot. If by chance you don’t have enough space for downloading an FPS game, EV.IO avoids that problem entirely by not requiring any space or specifications as long as you have a PC Browser.
EV.IO is a cooperative first-person shooter set in a futuristic arena that was released on the Solana blockchain. Introduced by AddictingGames in January 2021 and is playable on a web browser. Users who visit the website can immediately begin playing the game by clicking the screen because there’s no payment required. This quick-to-start feature is really what sets it apart from others.
There is an ‘$e’ token in play. It’s accompanied by SOL and serves as both a reward and utility. $e is the only token that I find distinctive because they rely on sponsors to reward gamers and it's a stable $5 for every 10,000 $e you have. This can be acquired by killing players (1-5 $e per kill) and accomplishing goals (10 $e). However, obtaining NFTs (weapons, char, and skins) is necessary for this.
The gameplay is identical to that of common FPS games like Call of Duty, Valorant, and Halo. A player must use a gun to kill foes until time runs out, the team with the most kills wins. This is nothing new for long-time veteran players of the genre. There’s also teleportation (has a cooldown) and double-jump abilities available. Player champions, weaponry, and skins can all be leveled up. This increases the opportunities for earning when ‘Power Level’ is raised.
There are several modes to pick from, including: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Mayhem, Battle Royale, Capture Flag, and Survival. Each has a minor change in mechanics. However, several maps are available to either be chosen or selected at random. EV.IO features a retro style and nostalgic sense that makes you assume you're playing a low-end Halo or CS:GO. It's not good, but also not horrible. The smoke and explosion effects resemble cartoon artwork.
I quickly confirmed that many people are playing this game because there was never a wait time when I entered multiple matches. I had no trouble getting used to the UI because it was clear and helpful. As long as you have a strong connection, playing went smoothly.
Among FPS games, EV.IO is one of a kind. Everyone is welcome because it doesn't require you to have a powerful processor to play. Due to the predetermined rate, players are guaranteed to make money, making it a secure option if you’re interested in those reasons. It will be fairly enjoyable for you as long as you don't mind the lower-end graphics. It’s so easy to start that I recommend you at least give it a shot. Just open your browser and begin playing.
