I believe in the prospect of a multiplayer virtual layer, I want it to be on the web, but... Is this it? Do we just ride around on the coat-tails of scammers? Why do we even need scarcity. We could just give stuff to each other? If all of our needs were met by a democratic socialist government, or even communist, we could just build out this metaverse creatively, not chained down by this pursuit of value or greed.
