📍Why creating BaseApp= Jesse Pollak explained why they created the Base App.

He said everyday people trying to use crypto often get lost and don’t know what to do, he also noticed that thousands of builders and creators had amazing products but couldn't get them in front of users. What was missing was the connective tissue, and that’s what the Base App is here to solve.

📍Founders Lounge Ep.2= Yesterday, 19/07/2025, was the second episode of the Founders Lounge.

Founders Lounge is an initiative by KOKOCODES and Charis to spotlight founders and their products in the Base ecosystem.

This time, a gamified product called SAIGE was featured. SAIGE helps you build games in just minutes without needing any coding skills. The founder explained how it works and how games can have tokens wrapped around them.

He also talked about the benefits for both players and game builders. SAIGE Airdrop is coming.

📍FBI Africa Onchain Design Sprint= FBI Africa launched the Onchain Design Sprint, an event to help Web3 designers improve their skills.

Sessions will cover

📍Base Marriage= Ohwodiasa Praiseis, founder of BaseOne, a community built on Base to help creators gain visibility, got married yesterday

It’s the first official marriage in the African Base community this year. Congratulations to him and his beautiful wife.

📍ENB Ecosystem Contest= This week was a happy one for meme creators in the Base ecosystem.

Creativity thrives in an ecosystem where creators truly feel a sense of belonging, and that’s exactly what ENB gives.

ENB came through again with rewards for meme creators. Many turned up, many won, it was a win-win for both builders and creators.

It was about a new day one.

“New Day One” gave birth to TBA.

The “Base Voice” pushed creators to spread creativity and content around TBA and the Base ecosystem at large.
