What happens when citizens, creators, and builders from across Greece – and beyond – come together to learn, experiment, and build on the blockchain?
Epirus DAO was founded to answer that question. And the first month of that journey has just come to a close. In this first monthly report, we share what we’ve achieved so far, how we’re building the foundations of our ecosystem, where we stand as a community, and what’s coming next.
In May, we started laying the first bricks. From the ground up, our goal was to create strong foundations for everything that will follow.
Website: We launched our official site: epirusdao.com, which serves as the central hub for our identity, mission, and vision.
Litepaper: We published our first Litepaper outlining our direction, the programs we’re developing, and our role in the global blockchain ecosystem.
Web3 Encyclopedia: We began creating educational content to build a Greek-language resource hub that helps members understand key concepts and practical tools.
New Tools & Infrastructure: We’re building core tools to support onchain functionality in the near future.
Governance Frameworks: From participation flows to decision-making mechanisms, we’re setting up the DAO’s operational structure.
Many of these steps might not be immediately visible from the outside – but like any solid structure, everything starts with the groundwork.
For us, it’s not about numbers — it’s about the quality of the community. And from the very first month, we saw sparks of something real.
Meetups: We hosted both online and in-person meetups for our early members.
Event: The upcoming Blockchain Ioannina event is something we’re especially proud of.
Blog: We published our first articles exploring Web3 and the DAO space.
Social Media: We established a presence on X, Instagram, Facebook, and Beehiiv.
Discord: Our official community space is live and growing.
We’re not aiming to “build an audience”, we’re building a community. One that thinks, learns, and creates together.
Blockchain Ioannina Event
June marks our first step into the public sphere. We didn’t want to just host a basic launch event for Epirus DAO, we wanted to take meaningful action. That’s why, on June 18th, we’re organizing our first open event: Blockchain Ioannina, the first of its kind in the region of Epirus, with the support of Bitget Academy.
We’re bringing Web3 to the JOIST Innovation Space in Ioannina, with free entry and speakers from Bitget, Avalanche, Cardano, Skatehive, and more.

Our co-founder Haris Chousos joined the Investors Without Borders podcast to talk with Vasilis Pazopoulos about the future of DAOs, the vision of Epirus DAO, and our upcoming event.

May was our first month. A month of laying strong foundations, creating initial content, and activating the beginning of a community. June and the months ahead will bring more public action, more content, and deeper participation.
We thank you for the support, feedback, and energy you brought from day one. Every small step matters — and every new member makes this journey more meaningful.
