My life doesn’t get worse—it stays the same.
Reframing rejection this way shifts the weight off my shoulders.
It’s not failure; it’s just keeping the status quo.
And if the answer is “yes”?
That’s a step forward I wouldn’t have taken otherwise.
So, I ask. Because staying the same isn’t scary—staying stuck is.
