“I started my Web3 journey a few years ago, when I invested in my 1st cryptocurrency, Guap. I became extremely curious about the full potential of decentralized currency and passive income, but I had no idea what I was getting into. I needed to learn more, so I traveled to Chicago to meet some experts in the crypto space. One of them was Chicago Crypto Block Bully. BullA Web3 researcher who taught me a crucial principle: “Comprehension before Compensation.” He demonstrated the diverse and complex nature of the Web3 ecosystem, and the various opportunities it offers for innovation and value creation. He also emphasized that I need to have a clear and deep understanding of the underlying concepts, technologies, and protocols before I can leverage them for my own benefit. This principle is also applicable for Web2 creatives who are interested in learning more about Web3 and its implications for the future of the internet. That’s why they should participate in ETHChicago, a platform that connects Web3 enthusiasts, pioneers and even beginners.

I felt a spark of inspiration when I discovered Web3 technologies such as blockchain and NFTs. They opened up a new world of possibilities for me as an artist. I had been creating art since I was a child, but I had lost my passion for it as an adult. Web3 technologies rekindled my creativity and gave me a new way to connect with my audience. I began to experiment with different tools and platforms, and to create original artworks that reflect my vision and values. I wanted to show the world what Web3 art can do, and how it can change the way we create and appreciate art.

I was drawn to ETHChicago as soon as I learned about it. ETHChicago is more than just a Web3 or crypto conference. It is a festival of creativity and innovation, where new and existing Web3 communities and ecosystems come together and collaborate. It is also a chance for me to present my work, gain new insights, and contribute to the success of the event. That’s why I decided to volunteer for ETHChicago. I wanted to apply my existing skills and acquire new ones, while working alongside experienced Web3 professionals and volunteers. I also wanted to network with other creatives and potential employers in the Web3 space, and explore the opportunities it offers plus I wanted to have fun and make some new friends.

I am also participating in ETHChicago’s art exhibition, where I can share my creations with the world and inspire others with my Web3 art.
