Let's be honest: this year has not been short on challenges β affecting our ecosystem and beyond β but ETHPrague's attendees and contributors have been showing incredible participation and engagement year after year. With more than 1000 attendees, 162 speakers, 89 talks, 21 workshops, 18 panels, around 40 side events, and more than 40 volunteers, our community continues to thrive and innovate with unprecedented builder spirit and collaborative energy.
From the diverse array of amazing speakers who shared their expertise on critical topics like sustainability, human rights, solarpunk principles, and Ethereum technology to the numerous dedicated sponsors who made the event possible, amazing volunteers who ensured smooth operations, and invaluable contributors, the event transformed into a dynamic and energetic hub where ideas flourished at the HoleΕ‘ovice market β a repurposed post-industrial venue that perfectly aligned with the event's sustainability theme.
The first day featured an engaging fireside chat between ETHPrague host JoJe and Ethereum Foundation co-executive director Tomasz Stanczak, exploring organizational dynamics and Ethereum's future vision. A historic conversation between web pioneer Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin highlighted day two, delving into digital autonomy, self-sovereignty, and visions of the future of the web. All attendees received a 30-day access to the recording. The day also featured an insightful discussion between Aya Miyaguchi, president of the Ethereum Foundation and Christopher Fabian from UNICEF about their collaborative humanitarian initiatives, along with numerous compelling sessions on privacy, sustainability, Ethereum related technical talks and workshops, and other crucial topics. Day three focused on sustainability, AI, and blockchain onboarding topics, featuring insightful panel discussions and engaging talks, freely accessible for local audiences. Many of the eventβs academic partners also joined for a fascinating panel discussion.

The conference was wrapped up at Bike Jesus with an unforgettable closing party! The spacious outdoor areas and warm bonfires created the perfect atmosphere for everyone to unwind and connect. The amazing Justin Holmes Band and Band No. 7 treated the audience to a delightful mix of Original Blockchain Bluegrass and Songs of Surveillance β such a unique blend of technical string band music that brought back memories of those wonderful early deadhead + cypherpunk gatherings. What made it even more special was having traditional Czech musicians join in!
