I talk about the MoonShadow project a lot. I’ve shared very little, however. I’m creating a Fantasy/SciFi setting, with none of the tropes, stereotypes, or overused romanticized folklore.
Not just that. Magic is not a difficult or coveted resource. Instead, it’s completely intrinsic. In everything, all the time, constantly changing, as it recreates scenes as characters move through them.
@The Metabaron joined me back in the summer. He’s been working pretty hard on content, while I’m nailing the setting down.
I’m focusing on worldbuilding early, because I’ve done it before, alone and for others, I’ve been writing for 25+ years professionally, and because my goal is to publish MoonShadow in an open way, allowing writers, artists, musicians, directors, any creative to use it as their setting!! And, with their permission, events they depict will become part of the settings history. Forever. I’ve considered publishing some supplements like RPGs commonly have, as well, opening it into yet another direction of creatives.
Are you excited?? I hope so!! I’m pretty sure that is the best I’ve ever described the MoonShadow Project and its goals and purpose. The images below are my original work. From paper, through GIMP, and sometimes some Photoshop, or other, tools. When it’s an actual release of cannon content, the full tools used on each image will be listed. Check us out.
I think you’re going to like this…. 👊🏼 solidarity?
