Uhh, okay. Why? No aspirations to lever up to insanity from whatever mediocracy passes their time now?
When I look around and see what’s considered the new, new normal, there is just no temptation whatsoever. A framework for a coffee chat? You’ve got to be kidding me.
Something strange is happening, or maybe it’s a strange time in the city.
99c Pizza slices going up to $1.50, overpriced 24/7 Halal deli on every corner, the lights of the freedom tower piercing the sky, wonky green street signs, impossibly white stained apartment buildings, piled up subway garbage. I don’t want to live like this, but I don’t want to die playing over the wire I could have sworn was going to electrocute me running at 2am in last night’s rain.
