You don’t think much about blood. Until you see it. Lots of it. Then suddenly, boom—you’re on Google, frantically typing “how many liters of blood do humans have?” or “is ketchup an acceptable substitute?”
But what if blood wasn’t just that awkward thing we avoid in horror movies or the reason you "can't donate today because of a cold"? What if it was part of everyday life?
Welcome to Esclapian Red—the startup on a noble (and slightly hilarious) mission to make blood as cool, normal, and shared as cat memes.
Led by Mercy Gatune, a biochemist with the heart of a healer and the brain of a mad (yet ethical) scientist, Esclapian Red asks a simple question:
“Why is blood only important when we’re running out of it?”
The truth is, most blood in Kenya (and many countries) comes from school children. Yep, teens with energy drinks and hormonal mood swings are basically keeping the national healthcare system afloat. But when COVID hit and schools closed? Blood banks ran dry fast.
So, we said: let’s fix that. With networking. And blockchain. And a dash of six degrees of separation.
Picture this: you donate blood. Great! Now, you’re automatically connected to six people who may someday need your help—or can donate when you need theirs. Then those six connect to six more. Boom! Before you know it, you’ve got your own personal Blood-LinkedIn (without the weird job offers).
No more hoping the hospital “has your type.” You’ve got people. You’ve got a network.
And better yet? You’ve got rewards.
Let’s be clear: we’re not out here trading blood like Pokémon cards. But we are building a token economy to ensure those who give—get. Not just hugs (though those are nice too), but real incentives: discounts, recognition, maybe even exclusive merch like “I Bleed For the People” hoodies.
We call it the Plasma Protocol. (Okay, we just made that name up, but doesn’t it sound cool?)
And while scientists are printing 3D organs and inventing synthetic blood (👀 Elon, call us), we’re making sure that when those wonders hit the market, it’s not just billionaires accessing them—it’s everyone, thanks to our blood-backed token economy.
Esclapian Red isn’t just a health startup. It’s a movement. A culture. A community of humans who believe no one should die because a bag of blood wasn’t available.
It’s powered by:

🙋🏽 People like you (yes, even the needle-phobic ones)
Blood is life. Let’s stop acting like it’s an emergency-only service.
Schools shouldn't be our main supply chain. That’s like relying on toddlers for national energy policy.
Let’s build a network of donors you can trust.
Let’s tokenize giving, so generosity = value.
And let’s do it with Mercy Gatune, who knows her biology and her blockchain.
So, next time you see blood, don’t faint. Smile. It might just be the currency of compassion.
Join the revolution. Join Esclapian Red.
Because bleeding shouldn’t be a solo sport.
Coming soon: The Esclapian Red App. Donate blood, track your token rewards, and maybe swipe right on a fellow lifesaver. Because who said saving lives can’t come with a little dating potential?
