The Volumes by Maxus
Book 0 - Preludes and Prologues
Prelude
A note for my fellow deanttersitin.
We have observed one mil iterations, following Pohrel’s Collection, during which much has been ascertained about the nature of Equilos. Thus, I volunteered to write the work you now hold.
Mytin are plentiful amongst the humans. In fact, Kehndel once wrote, “For each unique human in each Universe throughout each iteration of the Muli, there exists one mil unique mytin of human origin.”
Of course this relies heavily on Pohrel’s Supposition, “In all iterations of the Muli, each possible unique combination of DNA occurs at least one mil times in an amazingly favorable situation.”
A favorable situation has since been interpreted to mean, one that leads to the creation of a myti for the first time in that Universe.
Thus, Kehndel was simply saying that he supposes a unique human will not create the same myti twice despite infinite existences.
But as we now know, this is hardly true as there exists a myti told by humans in nearly all of the iterations.
String Theory.
This myti was so close to a truth that Kehndel themself was convinced, for at least two iterations, that it was the correct description of Equilos.
It does, however, attest to the robust computational power of the human brain when left unsullied by Equilos’ offspring.
This contrast is most striking when we compare Kab to Kereth. In Kab, we observe Ianoda’s prowess in allowing the humans near free reign, leading to the ever so crucial Great Expansion. In Kereth, we see a backwards people infatuated with their ‘Father’ Toray.
Now, I am fully aware that there is still widespread disagreement on the nature of Toray’s role in all of this, which brings me to the thesis of the first installment in this collection.
Toray’s heavy handed style of ‘guidance’ is in fact the primary driving force behind The Reconciliation.
My predecessors wrote only of the myti. But what of the mytini? Surely this subclass of myti, those with no grounding in reality, must provide an insight of some sort. They have been recorded so very extensively in previous collections; but, their analyses are few and far between. And so I took quite a different approach.
This collection painstakingly details the events surrounding the most important humans and humanderivs in the time leading to the end of The Reconciliation.
I have strayed from our rigorous treatise of the myti and instead use the style unique to the mytini. I hope this approach provides an unbiased version of this most important mytini; and within, may you find the truths that I have been made aware of.
